yes will launch with the current model
With all the dimensions correct, design change of the internal features would be very easy. This is the most difficult project so far. I have printed more than 30 prototypes. Next difficult one will be the ashtray replacement.

First print failed. The thermistor on the hotbed failed so the printer terminated the print. Replaced the thermistor and initiated a new print.
But the failed print looks good.

Hey I've been following along with Prusa3D for years ever since the release of the original i3 (3mm)! Super excited about the cupholders. I always hated the flap that uncovered them because it touches the console trim when in its back position creating a line of dirt on the face of the cover

You can use it without the butterfly. Do you want to remove all the features for accepting the butterfly?

Yes, one without the butterfly option. just the clean design. I do like the two holes connecting for other various items that end up in the cupholder. but for me, the butterfly won't matter as much since I use larger water bottles and cups for most of my trips.

Digging the progress on the cupholder. For the coaster you might want to make it a one piece so it spans the gap between the two sides.

LOVE the no-butterfly version but with the opening between... perfect for coffee mugs!

And to think I just bought a replacement butterfly on ebay....
