PSA: The LX570 cup holder butterfly insert is a drop in replacement for the 100 series
Mine has always been broken on the driver side, but I couldn't find a replacement. Toyota sells the entire cup holder assembly only. I do not like the generic inserts, because a) usually they do not allow closing the lid (OCD), b) the butterfly allows multiple cup/bottle sizes. Turns out Toyota...forum.ih8mud.com

Cannot do two 100 mm holes.I'm looking forward to getting rid of the butterfly dealio. I don't like how it works in general, and how it still doesn't keep the cups restrained very well. Some of that would be improved by your deeper holders, but the butterfly still pops out when lifting a cup out, or gets lifted up/out by a Nalgene bottle trying to tilt.
Can I assume there is not room for two Nalgene-sized bottles in there? (since you did one large and one smaller)
Awesome!!! So stoked for this!Yes the slot between two holes will be there anyway to accommodate mugs with handles.
Just about every morning I have my 30oz tumbler and 10oz lowball. Obviously, the 30oz is the one that gives me a hard time.which yeti?
Sweet, thanks man. Any kind of a timeline for these?I have the 30 oz too. I will test it.
I really don't know hahaSweet, thanks man. Any kind of a timeline for these?
Cool, I'll keep my eyes peeled and wallet ready! The idea of a well functioning cupholder AND a phone slot has me chomping at the bitI really don't know haha
CAD was done.
Key for butterfly adapter was fine tuned.
A whole prototype is being printed.
If everything looks good, I will print a final prototype with black production material. Then I will list it for sale.
