Not sure what it looks like on the inside, but I'm hoping we can save the door
Gunna be hard to find a matching shifter console and I guess I'll have to cover up the bruise on the dash cause I doubt they'll replace the whole thing
The white spots on the seats are sharp pieces of glass that got lodged into the leather![]()
Bummer, I was hoping to hear the shots that were fired came from you! Very glad to hear you are ok, I understand it is "just a truck" but I would never let my ride go without a fight. I am always carrying.
Holy crap, glad to hear that you are ok. With the economy and our current society, anybody with a brain needs to be prevalent against thugs worldwide. Even if you had a CCW the ability to reach it in time would have been none, you did the best course of action in the time alotted which was probably less than a split second. Congrats on your high observance at such a late hour and your ability to tell the tale and keep on driving the TLC.
It might be time to revisit this link.

There would have been no time for that, what he did was the best move anyone in that situation could have done.
South Orlando....my neck of the woods. I guess it wasnt a big enough story to make the local news.....
Gunfire disrupted downtown Orlando the night before the start of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, records show. It was one of 10 gun-related crimes over the weekend.
The shots exploded about 2:45 a.m. Sunday near the corner of Orange Avenue and Robinson Street as nightclubs shut down after last call and patrons filled the sidewalks, according to police reports.
"I ran out to Orange Ave and noticed a white Ford Crown Victoria making a right turn," an officer wrote. "I then noticed a bright muzzle flash from the roof area of the vehicle."
The driver, Alex Acevedo, 22, of Orlando, was stopped and arrested on charges of dangerous exhibition of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a stolen firearm, records show.
Other crimes included a home invasion, three armed robberies and three carjackings.
The driver of one of the vehicles foiled his carjacking at 3 a.m. Sunday in the city's SoDo section by speeding away from a red light at South Orange Avenue and Grant Street. Two men who tried to take his vehicle fired about 10 shots, striking the 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser three times, records show.
The crimes also targeted an Orlando police officer, who left an AR-15 assault rifle locked inside his patrol car parked overnight in an undisclosed neighborhood. Between 3:15 and 7:13 a.m. Friday, a burglar smashed the driver's window but was unable to remove the weapon from the vehicle's gun lock, records show.
Other crimes included a residential burglary in which a .45-caliber pistol was stolen. No one was injured in the armed robberies and other gun-related crimes.
Actually, it did (along with other shootings that night)

What are the odds that the gun that was stolen in the burglary was the same one used to shoot up my rig?![]()
