This is good news as I’ve been waiting to order the complete set - but I was under the impression that there would be a new front petrol plate with oil filter access, etc.

I installed my front yesterday. Fitment is good, but with the slee diff cross member I had to extend the rear mounting holes.

Coverage is great in comparison to the stock plates. Looking forward to add the other petrol skids later this year.

can you explain more about the rear mounting holes? I have a slee diff drop as well and the plate coming. thanks

The nut-serts on the slee diff drop are about 1/8" to the rear from where the skid holes line up.

I used a round hand file to elongate the two rear holes on the skid by 1/8". It bolted up easily after that.

A note is that the slee supplied diff drop bolts do not have a very wide head on them. I added 1" outer diameter washers to them.

My adjustment if ASFIR wanted to accommodate for these other diff drops, would be to drill 5/8" rear holes vs a 1/2", and also move their centerpoint on the drilling location back 1/16th of an inch. Then supply two 1" OD washers. This would allow enough free movement to line these up while remaining secure. Would work for both stock and aftermarket diff cross members.

@ASFIR 4X4 This is what I was referring to with the burnt out “S”. Secondly an installed pic

en route to AZ? but I didn't get it!:cautious:

BTW, I have received my front skid plate last Tuesday but have to wait for other maintenance items done to install it.

Installed the front unit this weekend. With the ARB bumper and Slee diif drop, had to trim the front corners and extend the rear holes, but otherwise an easy install of a quality product.

Stupidly missed the discount code period but did decide to replace my rusty front skid plate, ordered the ASFIR yesterday and immediate order and shipment updates from @ASFIR 4X4 within 18 hours of order. Thanks, looking forward to installing.

I would like to request for a replacement gas tank skid! I really love my front skid.
