Just a guess but - Probably gonna want to hang on to that OEM tank skid because that plus the 2 straps actually hold your gas tank onto your vehicle.
An aftermarket skid will likely just cover that area but not truly provide tank support

Yeah I was hoping to find something after market that will work with the straps.... Wishful thinking, I'll probably end up with a new or new to me oem one.

Placed my order on 5/24 and i figured this would take at least a few weeks to get. Welp, this skid showed up today and i don't even have the fasteners to install it. Packing was great on the skid and it arrived undamaged encased in shrink wrap. Waiting on stainless M8 - 1.25 x 35mm bolts and washers.

You reuse all the stock hardware... but on my LX PO removed the stock pan and didn't leave the bolts behind, so i need to source replacements The Skid comes with a single center bolt and spacer/washers. the part number for oem fasteners is 90119-08862

For anyone planning SS hardware - you might want to use galvanized washers to help avoid galvanic corrosion of the aluminum.

Mine arrived today. Ordered June 1st. A little bummed the “s” in asfir is burned out and has slag around it but I doubt it will affect performance. Definitely not an issue big enough to send it back or anything. Came with a medium t shirt a sticker and a key chain. Overall pleased with it. I guess I thought it would cover more. I own a 2017 Tacoma and got the TRD pro skid plate and it covers all the way back to the trans pan. But it was $300 on sale too.

I believe the front skid plate is the same for petrol and diesel (according to their website)--it's the other two that we're waiting on a US-specific model for.

I totally missed that—is that needed? Seems like folks have had no problems reaching the oil filter with the skid in place, and the engine oil drain access point would be in the middle skid.
