Ended up pulling an AWG 10 wire from the battery to a 12 volt socket in the rear, works much better. Fridge & new wiring did get its first field test today, picking up groceries from Costco... Works like a champ, fridge came down from room temp to when we left the house to 34 degrees by the time we were done shopping.
 
What have you guys experienced as far as shipping?? I purchased over a week ago, got a tracking number on 7/15, 7 days later still has not left the warehouse! Requested a response from Iceco, they said they would look into it two days ago, still nothing. Starting to make me concerned...

Yeah, the shipping experience was a bit odd. Looking back, the shipping history on the USPS web site says it was picked up by Shipping partner Amazon on July 7th the day after I put my order in. USPS in possession of the package on the 13th. USPS then left the fridge on my front steps the same day, the 13th. I don't remember seeing all the intermediate steps on the USPS site at the time, but now I can see it in the Tracking history tab.
 
The slider actually shipped fast via ups and I have it, the fridge was supposed to go fedex. My guess is they don’t actually have the unit I ordered (vl45) and are just not saying they don’t have it yet? Hopefully it comes soon.
 
Mine looked like they may have been banded together, but had separate tracking numbers, were supposed to show up on different days, but showed up together on the same day. (VL60 with slide) Both came UPS. I did get tracking numbers, but didn't track them after the initial 'label has been created' stage.
 
I’m sorry for not seeing these sooner, had some things come up and I need to focus the next couple days on writing a letter to the governors office of NC. Will be doing this on stream as I believe all politics need to be done in a transparent way. Anyways, my point is I will be very busy for next few days, and I apologize for not being as responsive as I would like.

Also please understand that IceCo is very busy and they are getting hammered with emails, which is why I ask members who buy things at a discounted rate, to ask here first. We get special prices so let’s at least try to handle our own customer service, and only involve them for things we can’t handle ourselves. They make less money with us, so let’s try to give them less headaches as well. They are doing their best to get back to everyone and get everything out as soon as possible.

regarding shipping, let’s try to weed out the ones that are outside of IceCos control.

USPS only does 2 scans, pickup and delivery. If USPS has given you the pickup scan, then it is out of IceCo’s hands.

UPS has been experiencing massive delays (I think they are swamped/deep in the weeds), and my VL45 was dropped off by Lu himself at the store, where it was scanned then sat for almost a whole week.

If you have a tracking number and there is at least 1 scan, then just wait as it is entirely in the shipping company’s hands.

If you have a tracking number but no scans, then let us know here I can ask for you.

@Owyhee Jackass i think it was you that needed the 12v? Here is the response. They need your address for the DC cable and need your order information for the return of the slide.

I ordered the VL45 on July 3rd. Tracking number is not scanned, just created with Fedex. Thanks for checking the stock for us.

Again, sorry on their behalf for not updating you guys sooner. they have been getting slammed and doing their best, which is why I scheduled the next group buy for august to give time to catch up and plan better for next one!
