Real talk, I literally just looked at the map to see how far out of the way southern Missouri is from our drive out to Big Bend this December. Apparently, it’s not far enough to take this option off my plate, my wife jokingly asked about camping in your parking lot haha.

We’re still working out the details, 2 spots booked so far but not sure past the first few days. We usually roll solo because we have young kids so things tend to change depending on a number of factors.

I definitely understand the ever changing factors with kiddos. The flexibility running solo is incredibly nice

I hear you on the octopus. I don't really have one to avoid the tangle and space it takes.. Mine is more like a standard air hose that is long enough to reach the furthest tire. That happens to have a short tee with an additional locking air chuck to concurrently fill the closer tire. So two tires at once if that makes sense.
 
I now have the RPV’s installed on my camper wheels and I did a timed deflate, they are quick and hella loud. See picture below for decibels. Tire size is 285/75R16.

I also tested out the high flow chuck and compared it to the standard chuck in my ARB inflator. The flow is higher but the fill amount is the same.

They are loud for sure. Just wait to pull the valve when your wife is about to criticize something you're doing. 😂 Not that she would ever do that. I've loved them so far. I think my 200 with 34s deflates from 38 to 18 in about 13 seconds. The staun deflators are cool but were always getting out of adjustment so the tires were all over the place. Just grabbed a second set of RPVs for my 80.

Thanks for checking this out. What's your air source here? Seem like a high pressure tank?

I find with my dual Viair (similar to an Arb dual), that the inflation time varies more. That is these pumps can deliver more volume with less backpressure to work against. I imagine with a high pressure air source, the chucks will make less of a difference?

I should have mentioned this, tank is a 35 gallon 110V. I’ll run the same test with the twin ARB in the cruiser next time I bring it out.

The chuck did allow for more flow out, the bottle next is the cable stem. When I air up with my cruiser this gauge is usually fluctuate anywhere between 79-105 so I’m guessing it will be higher with this chuck.
 
Those ARB inflators or actually, all the inflators I've tried are the bottleneck when using a large compressor and tank.

I've not used Monster Valves and they work really well. Would be interested to see how they compare in terms of inflation, deflation and noise.
 
Dropped by Discount Tires with the RCV valve stems today. They don't carry a compatible TPMS sensor. All of them are pre-integrated with a valve stem.

They're still willing to install and clone a TPMS, provided I can find a compatible TPMS.

So got to do some leg work to find one unless someone has a lead? I'll also try contacting Apex to see if they have any recommendations.

Interesting.

When I took mine in I had some ARB internal TPMS that they installed on mine. They are Schrader TPMS, just like the @residualboulders link, but were programmed for my Linx. They attached no problem.

Editing to add: as I type through this I keep kicking around buying the Schrader programmer and some sensors. The old “if you want something done right” adage seems to always be popping up.

I have to say I FF the thread.

I have the Apex deflators in the alphaequipt rims that have two valve holes.

The deflators are amazing for airing up and down. Particularly down is just so fast. Like 2 min including the walk time and unscrewing of the caps.

If they fit in your wheel and aren’t a tear off risk for exposure this is a great upgrade to further reduce friction for airing down.

I added a couple Colby valve to the drawer in case one gets torn off, it hasn’t happened, but they are exposed and I flexible.
