What is the name and brand of your color?

The Rustoleum safety orange is good. Pick up a gallon of that and 1 of clear coat and I should be good to go.

We have a winner!!!!!!
What do I win???

I like it. DO you have a color code? Is it the GM orange?
No color code for that particular truck. Look at a DuPont color book. Isuzu has a killer orange from 2003 that is very similar. Paint code 815, DuPont code B9043. Tangier orange.

Where'd you find that pic?
That looks like it was sitting on the set for Bert Weiman Ford!
Found it on the net originally, also was emailed to me by a fellow Mudder.

I think this is someone here. Wish I had a better pic.

Here is one that was painted in Edmonton, currently in Fort McMurray.

Couple of OEM looking orange 40s I ran across years ago. I would bet at least the hard top's paint was original. Very cool guy running the shop, but there was no way he was going to let them go.

The orange on the top one is the color I think I am going for.

Dude! The coolest orange one I have seen was gorgeous, and owned by Chris and Marde Jones, who go by Quazil and M-80 I believe here on Mud. I bought a 62 from them. Chris has a REALLY nice orange 40, with a super paint job, done by him.

Orange 40

This is a shot from a 4 wheel mag in the early 90s. I think the shot was in Surprise Canyon. Hugger Orange if I recall correctly.
