Saddest video I’ve seen in a while. A very close friend lost 2 1970 Chevy Chevelle LS 6 during the Ojai fire. It’s very disheartening.

@KT40 Agreed! Bummer nobody was able to potentially save parts of it! I’d love to have that diagonal side intake vent tho!

As a Californian I would try to get the LV and give the 45 to
the Land Cruiser Museum => a memory <=.

It reminds me of the Teseven fire in France, same thing 45 LV burnt to a crisp. The good news is that they plan to bring it back from that state and restore it. Sad to see.

I believe I read somewhere that the high heat a vehicle goes thru stresses steel and it makes the steel more prone to fracture and cracking. I hate to see these earlier ones go thru this but I would never buy a burnt vehicle, even if restored. I would not trust what would happen. Sad to see.

Cleaning house on a few bundled lots before my auction in May. I won't have time to split these up, so they will sell as lots with shipping included. More to come! These rarities are probably best suited for conversation/display pieces in a Cruiser man cave. Toyopet handle is broken like most, but does mount up nicely. Passenger rear lens has a broken chunk that could be glued back in and glue residue around edges. Hood spear is bent and missing center stud. 4WD emblem has one stud broken in the threads. $350 shipped on this lot of FJ45LV rarities. Thanks, Dennis

I didn’t realize this was the same one that I was looking at in WY. I guess I can’t build two out of one if they are the same truck…these pictures look better.

I ended up buying a few things from Denscustoms and he shared some history on it. From what I can recall, it belonged to a guy that was out cutting wood one day and on the way back something happen with the saw and equipment in the rear of it and it caught fire. The LV was in pretty good shape prior to that. Denscustoms acquired it and the rest is history,
