My assumption on this is that the PO just threw it on and there isn’t an actual reason but I figured I would ask the group. Andy reason for both of those? Am I okay to pull the rancho one? Power steering was added so don’t know if that’s a factor.

I had one of those in the 90s. Axle clamp part broke during hard wheeling. Removed that junk and have never missed it. Doubt it actually did much dampening anyway. 🙂
 
Well if two are good, three must be better! Go for it!
 
Mine had two previously. When I put my lift in, it came with a new stabilizer, but I couldn't figure where or how I was going to mount it. Now, I'll admit I'm stupid, but I didn't realize the factory stabilizer was what it was. Once I did, (maybe a retarded week later....), I removed it, and the clamp on stabilizer for the new one in the factory location.

The moral of the story is, sometimes you make bad decisions based on inadequate information and get weird results. 😄
