That's the first thing I was looking for when I put it up on jack stands, everything seemed tight, with no play anywhere.Does the brake rotor/caliper have any play in it? I just found a similar situation and it turned out to be that the spindle nuts were loose.
Nice rebuild thread. Just started from the beginning and am really enjoying the tutorial. Thanks or sharing.Enginge parts shipped today! Also received a tranfer case to transmission hose in the mail today, along with a box of metal prep and Rust Bullet!
Yeah I thought for sure that nut was long gone. The one I found in the road I figured was off of a tractor or something around here, I never thought about my own tractor engine until I was wondering what the heck happened.Great write up - I love it. I was laughing at your ad this morning about the claw nut lost on the road somewhere. Great picture to follow it up with.
I was "home" this summer in Montana - unfortunately for a funeral, but was still good to be home. Keep up the good work!
Wanna finish my ls swap while your in town? Thanks as always for the pics! I will be out in Jackson WY next month, I can not wait!
Yup, that would be me!Is that an actual picture of you? I realize for as long as I've been following this thread I have no idea what you actually look like - always just assumed you were Walter White.
I thought that beast was up and running? Maybe I should catch up on your thread again.Wanna finish my ls swap while your in town?![]()
That’s a vague phrase- many interpretations. It runs, but it needs a million little things still- front clip, lights, gauges, bleed the brakes… in-laws we’re in town last month, so not a whole lot done unfortunately.I thought that beast was up and running? Maybe I should catch up on your thread again.
Thanks! That is exactly what I needed
