Rock Creek looks like a really expensive summer camp...except you're allowed to get laid and drink.

I must not have read the menu close enough.

@rktmtnflyfisher I’m wondering if I can ask a favor. My front OME springs are getting pretty flat and I’m mulling the 4” skyjackers. We had a 40 with that lift years ago and I liked the way that suspension felt. Would you mind measuring your front suspension from the center of the hub to the bottom of the front fender? I’m trying to see how much higher the front would come up on my truck. You look a little heavier than me with the full bumper but otherwise it should be apples to apples.

@77mustard40

22" on the drivers side, 23 1/2" on the passenger side.

I knew it had some lean to it but not that much.

Awesome thanks, you might still have time to catch the evening trico spinner fall.

I’m sitting a touch over 21” DS and about a quarter inch higher on the PS. I got the front back up by swapping in the longer rear OME shackles up front but I’m still nose down overall. Sounds like Skyjackers are in my future.

There's a nice little spot down on the river that usually has some BWO or PMD's hatching right around dark now that it is cooling off in the evenings.

Drool ... I need to get back up to my place and get wet. Love the fishing in the fall after everyone bails out.

“Rock Creek makes her squirt”. I came up with that little jingle a few years ago with an ex I took fishing there. She loved it.
As always, nice pics and thanks for sharing.

Is that the hook? (pun wasn't initially intended)

A new pinion flange, Marlin seal, and stake nut for the rear pinion.

Amazing what a little LED light and a couple magnets can do for some extra illumination.

lol. This view looks really familiar. I just went through this. Fun. NOT
Luckily for me this time it is hopefully an easier time, I'm just changing the oil in the diff, giving it a good inspection, and changing the pinion flange and seal.

Took it on a test drive around SW Montana yesterday.
