Messed with my wipers today, I’ve been having problems with them blowing the fuse on low speed, high works perfectly. Did all kinds of testing and cleaning on them, the only thing I found was a loose connection on the park relay.

I guess I’ll just use high for now!

Last time I was shifting into 4wd I noticed it was pretty tough to get the selector lever to move, felt like it was in a bind. Crawled under it this evening and found that I installed the piece that mounts onto the top of the transfer case upside down. Oops, I flipped it over and reconnected all the linkage, tested it out, seems to shift in and out of 4 high-low-2 wheel just fine.

No good pics.

That little seitch is the park switch, there is 12v constant hot at that switch, it stays closed once the wipers are turned off. A cam on a gear inside pushes a tab out to open the switch once it reaches the park position.

Also found an interesting paint color, the back side of the drivers side gear box, where it bolts to the windshield frame. Looks to have more of a gold tint to it.

Puck is also a person from the show "Real World" on MTV... there was nothing to recommend him, not even being named after some english guy's play.
I remember that guy! He was covered in scabs and ate out of the community peanut butter with his fingers!

I got on the spray gun today like a truckload of day laborers on a free case of Keystone light!

Shot the gloss black topcoat from Rust Bullet today, almost a full gallon, maybe a quart left. Overall it seems pretty solid so far, I played the balancing act with the leaf springs, one fell down taking the rest along with it, one good gouge in the paint was all I found from the tumble.

SuperBuickGuy, thanks for the advice on spraying the paint on, it turned out a thousand times better than the brush was going, in about quarter of the time! Thanks again.

So pretty!

Believe me, I have plenty to keep busy with! Between 2 daughters 10, and 8, work, 3 other vehicles and my camper I have to get wrench time in whenever I can! And Saturdays are college football days!
You sound like me... 4 kids... 5, 8(x2, twin boys), and a 10 year old. One husband 2 jobs and College football, (geaux tigers) and anybody who will beat Bama!

Installed some LED headlights after I cleaned everything up.

They needed some serious adjustments to avoid blinding oncoming vehicles. I haven’t had a chance to road test them since I adjusted them, it’s been snowing.

I did take it up to the local ski area 2 weeks ago, hit the skinny pedal hard on the way back.

In the meantime.

It’s cold outside.

I don’t think I mentioned here about the valve adjustment.

Washed it in the snow to get the funk off, then I tuned the carb a little, set the timing and adjusted the valves a few weeks ago, finally getting the vacuum number up to about 16 inches from 11.

Runs like a raped ape now.
