Got the passenger side floor pan welded in tonight.

One step closer.

That top pick of the engine is crazy beautiful. I'm a restomod v8 type, but that's a beaut.
Btw, Missoula is nice I lived there about year. Good people and beautiful surrounds.

ummm... the air intake.

I will get a side by side pic later, but the angle of the top portion going to the carb is more aggressive and has a kick at the top to flatten it out just before it hits the carb. It is also about an inch higher to the top.

Everything looks great. Did you convert the carb to cable or the 40 to linkage for the accelerator?

It is still a mechanical linkage for the carb. Apparently there are differences in the firewall openings between the cable type and mechanical linkage type.

Missoula would be awesome. Lotsa cruiserheads in the greater area, though there's cruiserheads pretty much anywhere. 3_puppies is in Helena. great guy and he's got a huge stash of parts.

We will find out more tomorrow, I'm hoping for the best!

Put it together, take it apart, repeat as needed.

Fitting in the seats to get a feel of height and comfort.

How close do the seat rails match up with the stock mounts? I might have a line on the same seats.

Truthfully, not even close. A little fab work and they are close but I think I will build or buy a better frame to mount them on. I was looking at the frames from @cumminscruiser to see how they may work. The only fear with them is raising the seat too high, that is why I have the sides on and roll bar in place, to guage the ride height as I work on a suitable mount. I had the steering wheel/column mocked up also.

This is my last body panel to weld in! The rest is touch up and detail stuff, as far as the body goes!

Had a good track playing on the Sirius satellite radio while I was at it also!

If that don't get your ass moving nothing will! lol

I had to step away from the welder! Music like that leads to warped panels!
