Did u use the reinforcements behind the rocker?

Not yet, they are on my list of detail work, I still need to tack the floor pan into the outer rocker panel also. They will both get done at the same time. I have a few of those brackets fabbed up already to replace the ones I cut out, somewhere.

I only listen to heavy metal/grunge when out in the shop. Usually Alice In Chains.

dynamo hum

FZ tooling through my head since I read this.

Back on track for some momentary lucidity, good luck with the potential change in latitudes Ryan..

Depends on what you're doing. I prefer prog rock in the garage. I've snapped three pedals on my road bike listening to Alice in Chains while cycling.

That's good news! Now, pins and needles waiting for them to give you an answer. Being a flyfishing fanatic I predict you will love living there.

I have been working on the seat frames for the BMW seats, there is a pretty significant difference in height between the BMW and OEM seats. I have decided to fab up two separate frames for the DS and PS seats. The drivers side I can sink as low as I need to, making up for the height concern. The passenger side, short of relocating the fuel tank, I am stuck with the height that is there. My wife is nearly 6 feet tall so every inch of space will make a difference. There is a local tubing shop that I have bending some 1" DOM, once I have my pieces in place and tacked in I will start measuring for a bracket to bolt the seat sliders to. Pics will come on that once I get the pieces from the shop.

Spent some good time sanding down the hood where there was some leftover body filler that the sandblaster failed to remove, basically I am about to sand the entire rig down in preparation for primer/filler/paint.

The new prez put up a major roadblock for my hopes in MT:bang:, it will be interesting to see how all of this plays out. Hell, I may not even have a chance of getting the job to begin with.

I don't know what else I have done on my 40 lately. Had to work on the exhaust on my truck due to the rear section came loose from the rubber hanger when I replaced the muffler recently. Almost gave me a heart attack when I heard that loud metallic pinging when I backed up in my driveway, it was echoing from under the hood in a bad kind of way, in time with the engine! Luckily it was a 20 minute fix to loosen some clamps and shift the hanger back about 2 inches.

The dead of winter and there is no snow. About 60 degrees outside. I already have spring flowers sprouting in my flowerbeds.

Welded up a bunch of holes in the bed section of the tub tonight, also did the inside lip of the PS floor pan to the rocker. I was starting to weld in the reinforcements when I thought "is there something better I could do here?"

Poured some Jameson, quit working for tonight.
