Looks like a Lock Right or a LR clone.

Sorry I couldn't stop by on Sunday. Was following Sourbeer across the state, with no idea where anything was. We went down 81 to 15, if that makes any sense.

No big deal, I figured your plate was full! As far as the locker, this just adds more work to get mine back on the road! I might just remove it from the great rustbucket from 73 and stick it on a shelf in the garage. Looks like I will need to find all the guts from another diff to replace everything once I remove the locker though.

I ran that same locker for a while until I could afford an ARB. It was referred to as an Aussie Locker and worked great. Only problem was if you lock up one wheel when that idiot in front of you looks up from his iphone and panic brakes for no reason. It made a terrible banging when one tire stops and the other keeps rolling. Basically it tries to lock but the shock of different rotational speed caused it to complain. Pretty minor but a little shocking the first time. I thought someone had hit me from behind!

I haven't been able to do much work on my 74 in the last month or two. I have been busy with work, powerwashing my house, dodging the heat and humidity, and wrenching on the parts rig I bought. Ithas been slow going on that one as well, hopefully I can sell most of it soon, running engine, solid drivetrain, solid frame, and titled!

Until then, jamming out to some Outlaw County, and jamming to some Pantera today, in memory of Dimebag Darrell.

Got it, thanks.

Wwwwwwwhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeewwwww
Ddddoooooooggggggggyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Back at it tonight, welding, grinding, cold beer, and Outlaw County on the Sirius satellite radio!

Not much to report that hasn't been covered by better hands. Patching some cancer in the passenger side rocker area. Looking back on other threads, thinking bumps on my tub??? This area was cover extensively, the little corner brackets as well.

One step at a time.

And don't clown my welds tonight, I am a highly skilled grinder operator.

Hey, Mr. Highly Skilled, after you're finished grinding that patch, do you schmooze a little body filler over it and sand til perfect?

Looks like from what I have been learning there is going to be a lot of schmoozing a little body filler and sanding til perfect.

Seriously, I have done so much cutting and patching that when I am done I will need a skim coat over the whole rig. I am not building a show rig, but I am at least do my best to do it right. There will be no hidden patches of bondo anywhere, just the skim coating of body filler to smooth it out.

Cleaned up the welds, ready to finish out tomorrow.

Following the lead of @Jdc1 I just placed my order for panels from Real Steel. I have been kicking around whether to purchase from Real Steel or CCOT for a while. Hopefully these will work out with no major issues.

Rear quarter panel patches
4 wheel well support brackets
Driver floor pan
driver side inner and outer rocker panels

plus about $100 to ship.

Hopefully I can get the ball rolling again on my build, I am hoping by this spring to get it out, GSMTR is my goal!

Did a little work on the great rustbucket from 73! Pulled the guts from the from axle Monday and pulled the diff out this evening. Now it is time to get busy on my 40 again!

Pulled the locker from the rear diff this evening and cleaned it up. No real identification anywhere on it. Meh, the price is right. The humidity set back in mid 90s in the garage with humidity numbers around 70%. I hate it.

Time to cut out some damaged metal from my 40.
