I've been debating on purchasing this one for over 6 months! Are you going to get the correct one with the transmission cooler fittings or bypass it?

How long did it take to be delivered?

shipping was lightning fast. if you check their website you can order one with the oil cooler.

Thank you. I know they offer one for the US spec trucks. I like the idea of it, just to my research, no one has done it yet at least on here. I'm either going new oem from toyota, or one of these. My original has right at 207k on it. I want to, just a bit of an unknown.

Received the new aluminum radiator, box was pretty ripped up in shipping. Mounting tab was bent, I have a extra radiator shroud , it doesn’t line up quite right.
Decided to inspect the radiator, found a little spot where it looks like it was repaired.
Filled a claim with the seller, going to try another vendor and order a Factory radiator.

Hope the 5 one will arrive intact 😊

i ordered one without the tranny cooler by mistake so i just bypassed the one in the radiator. if i were you i would get the one with the cooler. took a few days to get it.

Bumping this thread - has anyone bought one of these 100% aluminum radiators for their 100, if so how was the fit?
So far I have had 3 Deso radiators damaged in shipping.
I bought one. It works fine now. If you read above you will see some of the issues. If you have questions I can resurrect some photos and notes I made. let me know.

I ended up buying an aluminum LILAND GLOBAL 2282AA from RockAuto last month. Same issues as previously mentioned, bent up brackets and the box was destroyed. After receiving a replacement, it fit perfectly. No issues so far! Although I think Rockauto may have taken it off their site, it's not showing up anymore. Has anyone else tried this radiator?

I ended up buying a factory radiator from Bell Lexus off ebay. It was double boxed with extra packaging and of course fit perfectly.

The slightly bent tab didn’t bother me on the aluminum one I received. I didn’t want to modify the fan shroud to make it work. So rather than waste any energy trying I just sent it back.

Ordered a 200 dollar radiator off eBay last week so I figUred id chime in with my results. Interestingly the box was not damaged at all but the mounting tab on the rad was bent unusually I believe it was shipped out this way. Either way ill be repairing it and using it, thing is massive otherwise impressed with build quality for the money.we'll see if it actually fits.

I had same experience with the eBay unit. Mine had the bent tab from shipping (easily bent back) and the fan shroud was a bit off in spacing on one or two bolt holes, everything still holds well so far.

That $200 eBay radiator... I suspect is the same company selling on Amazon under the name Alloyworks. Link is not to a 100 series radiator but rather a Jeep radiator. In any case, long term reviews aren't good.

Amazon product ASIN B07288YKL3
I just noticed the box in post #24 is the same box here "Cooling & Radiator Specialist."

Your Land Cruiser deserves better!!!

Well even the denso is China, and they're very good at manufacturing the same products 3rd s*** and re brand. Since the 20 year old unit with 270k in truck (holding, just turning brown) is no longer manufactured, so when it comes down to Chinese garbage for similar prices ill buy the aluminum and break out the tig if need be... although there is a better looking Chinese unit for 330 I may try if this ones fit is bad.

I won't be able to intall till next week, I imagine there ok will be issues with the shroud. Im gonna pressure test it tomorrow hopefully at about 20psi will see how it holds prior to any heat cycles.

@CorporalClegg Who said the OEM radiator is no longer manufactured? You've been misinformed.

The OE radiator for just about every Land Cruiser built in Japan since the 40 series and maybe even before that was supplied by Toyo Radiator (a.k.a T.Rad). Compare your radiator markings with this one. If you want one, contact your favorite Toyota/Lexus dealership/parts supplier and order one.

Interesting, I've seen otherwise more recently are they still being manufactured or NOS?

They never stopped but I'm sure someday they will. They stopped producing the 80 series radiator. They make the LC200 radiator as well.

Though Toyota owns part of Denso. It doesn't mean all Toyotas use Denso products.

Installed my ebay aluminum rad, initial impressions are as expected and experienced by other members, not exactly good. The rad mounted in the truck very well the fan shroud does not, and the over flow reservoir does not, the ac lines do but require a small spacer. It holds roughly 2 liters more coolant and seems to be holding it in fine have not got around to pressure testing yet. I am satisfied with the price considered. If anyone is interested with the trans cooler the fittings are -6 AN with 37° taper. Hard to eyeball 37° vs 45° I asked the seller who contacted their supplier and was told that's what it is. Though I don't know that it's factual.

How do you like the all aluminum radiator so far

So far I have no complaints outside of whats previously posted by me and some of the other members. I did get a chance to pressure test the rad at ~18 psi and it help it for several hours, and I I did regretfully have to replace the hose clamps with worm style due to the lower hose not wanting to seal with my spring clamps not sure if this is due to a variation in water neck sizes or just a worn clamp, and struggled with finding a matching AN fitting for the trans cooler lines. ( I used straight barbed -6 aluminum fittings, 3/8" JIC also works ). I flushed the transmission thew the the trans cooler as well ("nominal" pressures), but everything is holding and leak free. I've noticed a subtle change in cooling capability as well, since its getting cooler here in the mornings it takes a few moments longer to get some heat going and to OT in temps below freezing im assuming this is due to the increased coolant capacity.

I would buy it again.
