are you planning to keep the same couch disk o the improved HDT one ?
Renago- Are you saying that the 1HDT clutch is same as 12HT? Are the input shafts the same?

That could potentially be the front input seal on the H55f. Ask me how I know, I thought it was a rear main seal as well, mine was dry with 485,000kms, but I still thought that was the issues. Well, as you can imagine is started leaking once driving again and then I had to pull the tranny and fix it.

Possible it could be your rear main as well, but I would just fix that cheap input seal on the H55F now as it's easy to get do.
Another gotcha, my input shaft had a groove and I had to speedi-sleeve it as it would still leak. Info on my build thread around page 14.

Keep that heater core. Hard to replace in the future. Coming apart with surgical
precision.. very cool 😎 If you find yourself short of little grey bits in the end let me know
