Custom Steering Wheels | Wood Steering Wheel | Repair | Restoration
I’ll post pictures in a minute. Haven’t had a chance to reinstall.
Like I said, it looks good and feels nice, but I just got it and haven’t gotten it back on yet.
FYI- they said hand sanitizer will ruin the leather faster than anything.

It won't work bolt-on due to different control resistance, needs some fitting: either swap old switch, or change resistors in a new one.a wheel from a lx470 and the cruise works
It can be. One should mind that there are two types of airbags on 100/120/470 etc. One-stage and two-stage, plugs differ, and only the first one is probably usable with LX450/FJ80 SRS.I don't know if the airbag is hooked up though.
The moment I have 500 bucks to spare. There’s an apparently excellent place in Texas, Dallas Custom? Will take a look at yours when you get the photos up.I had my steering wheel rewrapped, looks new. Would you consider that?
Needs more than that, some leather gone, some padding gone, gummy when wet.People have just purchased the leather off amazon and did the wrapping themselves without removing anything more than the old leather. I don't remember who did it, but I thing it took someone an hour and less than 100 dollars. Might not be your think but this is what i will be doing.
I have very little faith that my 23 year old air bag will still work. I always envision it deploying a few seconds after the crash, and only about half inflated.
Meaning what—boneyard find? Looks good.
This was my orginal plan but ended up going with @MScruiser (I think) leather rewrap kit.
