Here is a simple fix for your worn and dried out vinyl T-case shift boot.

Kit will include Boot and correct pop rivets.

You will need to cut 1/4 slits along the edge to relieve the edges so they can lay flat between the upper and lower trim ring.

The lower edge that rolls under is the two rivets that will need to be placed and gently squeeze the gun to set the nail. This will hold the rings together and allow you to move the material around into each corner. After you center the edges and place the other two go ahead and set the rivets.

Need some for mid year hilux (85) anything coming?

I got the one from SOR years ago, looked good, installed the same, but I put some contact glue on it for a better fit, wanted to pull out. However, SOR had to put one of their big obnoxious tags in the seam, always looked like crap. Very nice Shane. I made vinyl boots for my tranny shifter and PTO also, very plush looking in a 40.

Wow, no replies?

Nothing...

I thought about tags on my items, from seat covers and leather kits. But did not think that is a good idea.

looks like a much easier fit than the sor one. i had an sor and threw it away when it started to come apart at the seams while i was trying to get it to fit.

FWIW, there is an even easier fix, though it costs a few dollars more.
The t-case boot is still available at local dealer. Comes as complete assembly with metal frame:
"Toyota Part 58280-90305
OEM Toyota DUSTPROOF ASSY, SHIF
Toyota's Retail Price: $26.66
You Save: $5.73
Your Price: $20.93"

The thing that is crazy expensive is the molded rubber boot that is hidden below the interior boot:
"Toyota Part 58281-90352
OEM Toyota COVER, TRANSFER FR D
Toyota's Retail Price: $92.48
You Save: $19.88
Your Price: $72.60"

somebody should re-pop that for a reasonable price (hint, hint ;) )
