I've gotta get those rear spoiler mounting holes patched up before... and pull off and patch the roof rack as well. I hate body work.

I am still waiting for a video of an 80 series with a snorkel just driving into a lake and letting the canoe launch straight from the roof.

I love it when this thread pops back up.

This is my 15ft Grumman that my father bought new in 1973 for a boyscout 50-miler. I took ownership shortly after and have used it a lot over the years. Now my son is starting to use it for his fishing adventures. It has been stored inside for most of those years, so is still in great shape. I like that it has been passed down three generations. Who knows, maybe he or my daughter will pass it down to their kids some day...

Trip to the NC-GA area over the 4th of July weekend. We went with two Cruisers, the '85 FJ60 (3FE swapped + H55F), and our '97 80 series. Boats were a 14' solo Mad River, a 16' Dagger Legend, and a cheap fishing kayak. We ran a section of the Chatooga River that is mainly class I and II whitewater, but did encounter one class III. Take out on the GA side requires crossing a small stream, climbing a few rocks, dealing with a deep off camber hole. 4WD and low range are requirements, lockers help.

I was today years old before I knew this thread ever existed, and for some reason I can't stop seeing this;

And now rethinking that 9ft Grumman that a local guy was trying to unload a year ago that I passed up,...
