Auto trader Glendora CA for $5950

Really nice one on Hemmings Classics in Vermont for $13500

Hemmings again Texas for $13950

Very cool thanks man! Funny I emailed you back about the green one, it does look black in the pics. I will check into the Seattle truck! The other one for $4995, when I did the Lexus VIN search came up as living most it's life in philly, so it probably has bad rust.

Yeah the money spent shipping a rust free truck is a lot cheaper than dealing with a rusty one

Damn you're on a roll! I didn't even think about hemmings. That Vermont truck looks good. The TX truck with the CA plates is probably much less likely to be rusty, but I also see it's been sprayed. Front bumper is black not gray, has cheap plug wires and battery, etc. makes me feel like it's slightly misrepresented as a $14k truck.

Awe s***!! Someone might be getting a new 80!!!!

Keep us posted if this is "the One".

Neo: What did she tell you?
Morpheus: That I would find the One.

I don't know about THE one, but the price is good, it's a fellow mudder and he says its rust free, and it has a good interior like I was looking for. Just need to make sure shipping from Oregon to Virginia isn't a deal breaker. Lol

You live in Virginia now?! That's close... Like 1400 miles close

Half k,

No it won't be loud and obnoxious, I am way past that part of my life.
This is a quote from your other thread, did you get younger or something???:p

I was talking about the stereo in that other thread ;)

For this 80 I am going to use a 4" electric exhaust cut out right at the downpipe. So usually it will be quiet and run through a couple mufflers and a resonator but flip a switch when some obnoxious sports car pulls up next to you and let them know the old truck means business. Lol

Hmm well the cams should have shipped yesterday. About 8.5 weeks wait on them. And hopefully according to Axel at Elmer Racing in Finland my custom CNC turbo flange should have been finished and shipped today! But I am a little skeptical since I asked for a completion photo before it ships and Axel disappeared so we will see. Lol.

The truck I am looking at has fairly new brown and tan Metric front seats so by buying it I will FINALLY get at least the brown leather seats I have been trying to get for quite a long time for my other truck.

For this truck I am pricing 4 Bride buckets. The fiberglass are $1035ea, the carbon fiber are $1350ea, so it's kind of a no brainier to go with the carbon since the fiberglass looks very pedestrian and I am thinking I am going to need all the help I can get to hit my 4500lb target. Lol.

Still zero word from Hypertune on the intake manifold. I think the owner from Titan might have been right.

Are there any concerns about the cross-sectional area of the (6) pipes coming in VS the (1) going out? Should the OUT be more than the IN? Or is there a back-pressure calculation I don't know about?

That's a very normal idea for a turbo flange. That GT42 Flange is much larger than a T3 that usually get used. You want to use equal length runners to get each exhaust pulses to the turbo without interfering with each other.

Smaller runners mean quicker spool, larger runners give you more headroom for more power. So quick example:

T3 flange:

Area - 2.37"X1.95" = <4.62"^2

GT42 - 5.95"^2
