Sweet deal!

Well, all is for nothing, thanks for the input fellas, but it sold last night. I couldnt have gotten there that quick... Damn.
thanks for the lead. I'm a proud owner of a 93 80 series. jk usually at that price with no rust people snatch it up quick.

I bought my 93 with lockers and 312k miles 5 minutes after it posted to Craigslist. He had a bunch of calls and people offering to fly in from all over for it. I fortunately had @NLXTACY to go and give him the money and check it out. I had committed to buy it the moment he answered the phone.

You have to be prepared to take the risk. Worse case scenario I would've lost a $1000 if I sold the locked axles on the cheap.

I gambled and won. With Land Cruisers you rarely lose.

it was me I took a plane from Arizona and flew out to Mississippi or Alabama or wherever it was and I bought it and drove it back it's like brand-new you lose

Now I know you are lying. We dont have airports down here...

Little does @sea bass know, I am following him right now... he will be lucky to get used to that rich corinthian leather for very long.

I bought my 97 locked and supercharged Collectors Ed over the phone and took a one way rental car the next day from Michigan to Missouri and drove her home. I bought my locked 96 with ARB and OME lift (blown hg) for $1500 on the spot and trailered it home, and it's now my youngest daughter's ride. They were both great buys, but then again I have stories of 10 others I missed. Just keep lookin'.

I paid 1200 for a single owner dealer maintained 93 because the lady who owned it said there was an 'electrical problem' that they couldn't figure out.

I didn't want to buy a problem car so I almost didn't even look at it, but I did. That's when I noticed the battery was from 2006.

Dropped a new one in and it's been running like a top since.

Moral is that it's always worth the look.

Ripping off old ladies:eek: your karma is destroyed:flipoff2: okay, jk.

She's a brain surgeon and said that she was selling the 80 so she could buy something reliable for her daughter like a Yukon..... I felt no remorse.

She needs to have her brain examined...

Yeah, it's not that difficult to get a car working, not like rocket surgery.
