color combo is good, just dont like the proportioning. keep it in stock pig configuration.

besides, why would you want icky ford configuration on a sexy pig;)

Since Cruiser Innovations is no longer in business, I'm sure he's just been busy with other things. Last I heard from him the FJ55 was still getting worked on, slowly but surely.

Photo Time!

Since the last post I have sprayed the ole wagon with two coats of Epoxy Primer Surfacer, and then rattle canned a quick paint job... The rattle can paint job is just to get me by for the time being.. I want the body perfect before I paint it and could not spend the time on it for now. Next spring I plan to strip the old girl down and get her lazer straight, but for now I can enjoy my old wagon without worrying about more rust issues...

I had filled in the reverse lights because I think they look like crap. I'm quite pleased with the results. I plan to utilize the reflector chrome bezels and mount my reverse lights in place of the reflector.

I'm pretty happy with the way the wagon turned out with just a rattle can paint job. The paint sceme I chose will be the same concept when I complete the final paint job however where you see black it will be 57' Chevy Turquoise, and where you see beige it will be either gun metal grey or black.

Picture all of the windows tinted limo and this wagon is going to look wicked!

This summer I'm having the door panels, visors, kick panels, dash, and seats reupholstered. Piping will be done in the same 57' turquoise, seat and door inserts will be covered with a graphite suede, and the outer collars will be covered with an alligator type dark graphite almost black vinyl. The entire headliner and dash will also be made from the same alligator skin material.... It will be one Wild Wagon...

I made a video of my wagon and will post in the next day or two.. Happy Easter MUD, and thank you guys for your interest and support!

Next on the to do list:
Front and rear bumpers with spare tire carrier...

BAD: Just found a fuel leak in my fuel tank... Guess I'm gonna have to get a new long distance tank... Shoot

There is a long range tank for sale in the 55 clasified section. If you can't get to Stockton, I bet I could get it close to you. I plan to go to the swap meet Saturday and then up to Burney Tuesday

Wow that old wagon is looking pretty sweet! Great work. I bet you can't wait to start showing her off around town.

Thanks for sharing.

Great job!

Hope you continue posting your progress.

I'm considering selling this old girl but only testing the waters here... I have to many projects and need to down size my inventory....

Here is my Classified link:

Give me a call or email me if you have a serious offer to put down... Just so you know I have no interest in giving this cruiser away and will only consider offers from people who can appreciate the amount of time and money already invested in this pig....

I was recently asked to post a few photos of the interior so here they are... I've made all but the rear cargo interior panels from ABS sheets which work awesome. They don't warp like to old cardboard style panels...

I also pulled and cleaned the gauges, and replaced the cracked up dash...
