Anyone knows what thread is for this secondary temperature sender? I don't use it and want to cap it.
Valves adjusted, and I'm waiting for some parts from UAE so I can finish the exhaust manifold.

Oh, one more thing... I set up on a bench the full 80 series cruise control and controlling the motor speed, I can run the speed sensor. Still no success. I don't know if there is a power sequence, because I'm not getting any codes. I plan to install this on the troopy. The speedo is mechanical, and I have a 'splitter' from an early 1991 FJ80. But for now, I just want to get it working, if any have any tips...

A friend machined from aluminum 4 covers to replace the oil level sender. Why would you need it if you have a dip stick???????

I will probably try to start it this afternoon. The 1HDFTE modified by capping six M6 threads with stainless set screws and FIPG in order to use the 1HDFT valve cover. The one on the top left needed machining of a new thread.

Headed tomorrow to @orangefj45 to swap the 1HDT with this baby. I was tempted to leaved here in the middle of the living room. Did not go well with my wife. Not because she objects it. It’s because she wants me to finish this troopy so we can start using it…

Troopy has a 1HDT/H151. Our 40 has a 13Bt/H55. My DD is a 60 with 500k miles and a year ago I installed a 15BFT from a bus in Hong Kong. Our 80 has a 1HDFT/H151. Then… my daughter built (her self) a 40 frame off with a 1HDT/H55 intercooled.

Going to apply for a job at Toyota.

1HDT out. Swap the tranny on the 1HDFT and the engine is in. 6 hours. All is left is hooking electrical and some plumbing. The guys at Valley Hybrids with the lead of @orangefj45 are FANTASTIC!!!!

Finished everything this morning. Also helped the shop build a 1FZ for a couple of hours. Lining up the timing gears. The shop will install a bunch of Terrain Tamer gear and used this rig as a demonstrator. I'll be back next week with bumpers, hood and once it's back with me I'll do the grill and start building the 'house' in the back. Got already plans developing. It will be similar to our 80, but probably using Lithium and induction for cooking inside. A small gas stove outside.

Still struggling to get the 80 series cruise control That I want to install here. It set up working (NOT WORKING!) on the bench. I follow Churchill "we will never give up, we will never surrender".

No. Right now it’s 3 pieces. 2 light bezels and center. I need to cut the light parts for the intercooler 90 pipes and see if the center piece needs any trim. Keep posting.
