It took a few months and a lot of learning but I am pretty happy with the way the steering wheel turned out. It’s surely a lot better than it was!! lol
Check that off the list and on the next. I can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Cleaned up the tail light brackets and got the lights in.

Now on to cleaning up a few other items. I feel pretty lucky to have my hands on these wiper motors and arms. Will need to do a little work but not much!!

lol headed out for a hunt. currently have some fluids drained. But I will do that here shortly and take you up on that.

Got the wiper motor and arms all cleaned up and installed.

I am beginning to restore the oil bath air filter. The lower housing is in pretty rough shape. If anyone has one they’d like to sell or a lead where to find one. That would save a TON of work!! So far my research has brought me empty handed.

I have been looking into that and not to much luck yet. But I wonder the same thing.
I have hope this one will come back to life soon. Fingers crossed!!!

I have early (wartime and CJ2a) Jeeps and they unfortunately have significantly smaller air cleaners. Not sure if the 6 cyl Kaiser Hurricane motor has a bigger air cleaner.

So far it has not been easy. Although I have found that I missed a few opportunities on some that came up on mud.
I’ve checked with mark and also checked on classic cruisers. But have not reached out to classic cruisers about it specifically so I might try that.
But I am still on the search! And will also reach out to landcrusher909 if you feel that’s a good place to look.
