Amazing work on that starter!

WOW HUNTER3DAN. just glanced through this Build, awesome attention to detail !

It has been way too long since I have posted some pics. Life got busy and I am now getting back to the cruiser.
But believe me I have been making progress on it. Rebuilt the PTO cleaned up more dash items. Rebuilt parking brake. Installed new P brake cable and Speedo cable. Electrical is all installed. Thanks to the help of coolerman I couldn’t have done it without his help. Worked the front bumper over pretty good and about to paint then install that. Have a few new items ready to be put in. Tail light brackets are starting the process of being rebuilt. also about to rebuild the bottom of my air filter as it is rusted out.
I have some cracks in the steering wheel and plan to restore that soon.
I am on the search for an original rear license plate frame and wiper motors and wiper arms.
If anyone has a lead on any of those I would be in your debt forever.

Lot of little odds and ends to do but I feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
As Long as I can come up with a solution for the wiper motors and rear license plate frame.
I had the original frame but the guy that did some work on it never got it back to me. And unfortunately I’m not getting responses back.
Below is the one I had. Had a single light on top.

Happy to see you make more progress on this.

Do you have pics of the wiper components you’re looking for? Happy to dig thru my stash …..

Here’s the motor. I’ll have to dig up the blade I have. I only have this one set. Not even sure it it works yet but I think these ones are hard to find so I’m guessing I’ll be rebuilding it somehow.
Thanks for looking for me!!

Cleaned up a few items on the dash. I forgot I don’t have the OG throttle and choke cable.
So any leads on those would be awesome.
I have reached out to Toyota Matt multiple times and only got a few responses that didn’t really pertain to my situation.

Bumper is primed. I think one more round of sanding and it’s ready to paint.

Not too hard to rebuild, usually the grease has hardened up causing them not to run.

Does the one wiper arm you have have the letters “TNK” on it? If so, lock it up, it’s gold. Bad news is finding a second one will require a good portion of the fort (Knox) to purchase, to include the cost of the rocket ship ride to the other side of the moon to find it.

Hahaha ok I will check that out and get back to you. Good to know I might possibly be making a trip to space in the near future.
Thanks for the heads up!!

Doesn’t look like they are the original arms. I don’t see a TNK mark on it.

I don’t know if you’d be interested, but I have a very nice early steering wheel. I believe it’s 36 splined, but will have to check. It only has 1 small crack.
