Are they offering a 100 series line? what is the out the door cost for front and rears?

it seems like they are working on it. If their pricing on the 80 can be used as evidence, I'd bet at least $2k for the front and $3.5k for the rear... their 80 series front bumper is the most expensive bumper for the 80 I've seen, I'd expect the 100 stuff to follow suit.

Yes, I believe that is the intention....prices will need to be revealed by Delta VS.

Also, I'd like to see some pictures of the welds you are saying are so horrible. If you're going to blast someone's reputation on their quality of work you really need to back it up with proof. I've seen numerous examples of his shop's welding and they're some of the best examples I've seen. (and I used to inspect welds on submarines)

I've really seen much better welds on Taiwanese bike frames. That's all, on this topic. I will update about future progress with Delta!

1. The welds could be better. I'd grade them about average. Nice puddled weld lines for the most part, but some not-so-nice in a few places. It's not Dissent's welding porn, but it's not "Glorious People's Chinese Bike Factory #7" quality, either. It should match side-to-side, agreed. Looks like the weld was ground down on one side, and should have been ground on both.... I bought a bumper from another popular fabricator (not Dissent or 4x4Labs) who is here on MUD, whom I don't want to name, because I don't want this to sound like a complaint, because it isn't. The welds are about equivalent. On my bumper, not art, but functional, strong, and workmanlike. Took a little cleanup on my part to make my bumper really look great, though.
2. The powder coat didn't adhere to some of the welds real well. Probably from some contamination from the mig welding process. I'd say yeah, you have something to complain about there. Definitely would ask for a refund on the powder cost, if it were me. That is why I get my stuff in bare steel, and handle prep myself before painting or powder coating. I painted my bumper, because I intended to use it to.. bump into stuff.
3. No point in powder coating the receiver. Zero. The powder coat will get worn off immediately, and it can interfere with the fit of the hitch coupler. The receiver will get a coat of rust about ten minutes after the first time you use it.

Man, looking at my new dissent bumper compared to this, i wouldn't be happy. Shoot, comparing this to a chinese TJM, the TJM still looks better. Sorry that you have to go through this. Just return it and move on.

Most of those welds look cold. The hitch receiver top weld is stitched which is unacceptable. Hard to believe that came from their shop... I'm surprised. They definitely need a new production welder.

Man, it really sucks that you are going through this with 4x4Labs. I think we've all had some kind of experience where we felt poorly or unfairly treated by a vendor of some sort.

FWIW, they have been great for me to deal with. Initially, I ordered a rear bumper from them with tire and jerry can swingouts. About two weeks later my wife and I found out we were pregnant. So, we started going over our new "pregnancy budget," and decided that the bumper had to go. I called and spoke to Luke and HD both, and they were very understanding of my situation and issued a full refund without a fuss. Even though they had already started my bumper.

Fast forward to yesterday: I took receipt of my new 4x4Labs rear bumper with the tire and ladder swingouts (different than my initial order), and it looks absolutely stunning. The welds are beautiful, it was packaged and shipped well, and the powdercoat looks great. During my second order, they were more than accommodating with my payment options and requests. I would highly recommend them to anyone that cared to ask for a recommendation.

I would think he would like to see these and give a talking to the guy that let them slide. I don't believe this is typical quality that come out of his shop.

Yeah, those look nothing like what I'm used to seeing from Luke's shop. I'm glad you posted these because it puts it in better perspective.

I agree with Ben that this needs to be communicated to Luke because I'm sure he would like to know about it.

I told Luke that I began this thread, yesterday, via email. I haven't heard a peep from him after I sent him the second email posted in the first post of the thread.

Doesn't change the fact that labor is still on you. You are owed a full refund for the bumper and powdercoat, but not for labor. All the more reason to inspect parts before letting your mechanic have at it.

I’m not a welder, but I would say just by looking at the pics that two people with two very different skill sets welded on that bumper. Or maybe the same welder, just continuously drinking and getting worse.

I was told by Luke @ 4x4 Labs that they'd refund me my full purchase price as soon as they were on a truck and he had the tracking number.

Well, they've been on that truck with tracking number for TWO WEEKS and I STILL haven't got a refund or a reply from Luke about it.

Totally lame experience all around.

First off, I would absolutely buy one for my 100 but I have a cool ladder that I want to keep and I wanted to talk about dimensions, no call back.

I bought one for my 2nd gen 4Runner, when I got it I couldn't close it with the jerry can holder because the hi-lift mount hit the tire, lots of calls and I finally got a call back, they shipped me a new Jerry can holder with the hi-lift mount on the other side. Problem solved! They also didn't sent me any return packaging so I still have the jerry can holder. Score!

Fast forward a couple months and I'm on the white rim trail in Canyonlands, the weld on the spindle breaks, this happened pretty early on before any real challenging sections. Major bummer, had to hold it up with rope, was such a bummer to spend so much $$. This time I got a call back real quick and HD was super on it, told me bring the bumper back to Torfab on the pallet and they will pick it up. Said Luke is going to stand behind his products. Luke called me when they finished power blasting, re welding, powder coating, and apologized profusely. Got the bumper back, sold it for not much less than I paid and bought the LC.

I like 4x4Labs, I do think they are a bit hard to get a hold of, voicemails mostly go un-responded, emails are never returned, but in my case they made it right, no they didn't pay me for my time and I don't really think that's their responsibility, I'm just glad they made it right.

Now if they ever call me back maybe I can get that bumper for my hundee...

4x4 Labs took my bumpers back AND HAVE AVOIDED ANY COMMUNICATION & HAVE NOT ISSUED A REFUND!!! CAN U BELIEVE IT?!?!?! They don't stand behind their s***! They hide behind it! Total Mofo's!!

It's a blessing I paid with a credit card, so I was able to dispute the charges.....giving my ALL my money back, including shipping. (FU 4x4 Labs!!)
