How did you do the wiring to the roof? detachable?
Nice job man.
Rack looks sweet.
How hard was the front Differential gears install? I blew mine and I'm contemplating doing it myself.
Take care and glad to hear it's running good and mileage is great.
Finally read your whole thread, great work on sorting things out. I've been having more haze at idle again and am wondering if my current injectors (SAC 5x12) have loosened up and are not popping where they used to. I'm pretty sure I'll be going back to the VCO style nozzle to clean up the idle haze I don't want. Whenever I think I'm satisfied with my power level this little devil on my shoulder keeps wondering what if I give it just a little more fuel. Sounds like that little guy is visiting your shoulder too. At least I'm not the only one with the addiction.
it's a battle some days i say clean and efficient others more fuel. my next set of injectors will likely be a set of VCO 5x11-12 size. i can hit close to 40psi with high egt's with this single so i don't need that much more fuel to feed twins in the sub 40psi range with very cool clean running. i figure any more and I need to pull the motor for a refresh. mine's a 1987 with no history of rebuild or number of miles/hours. it's a ticking time bomb really assuming my 9mm head is cracked like all but running strong. these are amazing engines.
Ya I've been asking for it pushing more and more boost. the head work has always been on my list to do to take the next step with twin turbos and 40+ boost. I've been pushing 32ish for the last year occasionally seeing 35+ under the right conditions even with the waist gate starting to open. that's all on an engine that was out of decommissioned bread truck who knows how miles where on it and how old.
