yeah but they werent the right ones, no luck for me
Interesting

I ordered from HCDQ also for my LX. The part number was the same as Toyota. They work for me.

Hey Guys!
Just a note, I do still make the Original Style connectors which deletes the 3rd row seat functionality.

Cheers,
TheOzMan
Ozman, really wanting to pick up two of the original style connectors/taps. Really hoping you're still making those, even if the price has gone up! Let me know!

Connector part numbers are posted earlier in the thread. Looks to be something you can order through any Toyota/Lexus dealer.

The specific pins may be harder to track down
Pretty sure they're not...I just scrolled through the whole thread again. Honestly, if ai had the connector part numbers I can do the rest myself, just don't have the many hours to find out what connector is the right one.

Post #76 for the non-pass through connector

Hi Everyone,

I must apologize to the community.
I had to stop making the connectors due to life being crazy busy, but I am happy to say that I am back in business making the original style only.
I have them built and ready to ship.

If you would like to order, please reach out to me:

The original equipment wiring is not really rated for 30A but it can be safely used for around 20A of constant use and a spike within 30A. With this connector you can get up to 40A to power anything you would like (1 connector for each side merged together).

I've removed my rear seats and have two of Izat's connectors. I'm clueless when it comes to electricity and have a couple questions.

I'm planning on hooking up a panel like this with cigarette lighter socket, USB/USB-C ports, LED voltmeter and on/off switch.

What's the advantage of merging the two connectors to get 40A?
He says the OE wiring isn't rated for 30A. But I would only have to use a heavier gauge wire after the two connectors are combined, right?
Izat mentions a fridge could cause a spike of 30A, so does that mean a 40A fuse would be the right size to use?

Thanks.

Mine has been very handy in the back, but I ran 1 AWG wire from the house battery up front to the back to also include my 3k watt inverter.

Gonna sound silly, but how are routing the cables?
I ran the cables through one of the drain holes under the third row seats. There's a rubber floor pan plug, about 2" (50 mm) diameter that I cut a hole in to run the black and red wire through, then ran it along the left rock slider, tucking it up very tight with zip ties (cable ties) so it'll never catch anything on the trail.
Then ran it up the fire wall next to the brake master cylinder and terminated at the battery. Easy-peasy.

Hello Folks,

I have found a way to harness the 2 3rd row seats power circuits that are fused at 30A directly from the battery and always on without messing with OE harness. The OE wiring are not really rated for 30A but it can be safely used for around 20A of constant use and a spike within 30A. The GX460 are the worst in terms of providing power outlets to the rear cargo are and with this connector you can get up to 40A to power anything you would like (1 connector for each side merged together). This is only applicable to GX460s with powered 3rd row seats
  • These connectors can be used to power a fridge, USB outlets, Cig, outlets, and pretty much anything shy of a 1000W inverter.
  • Because these circuits are directly connected to the battery, you can add an appropriately sized solar charger.
  • You do not need to remove your seats to use these connectors.
  • They come with 3ft lead wires, if you need longer, I can do longer ones per special order.

Update: SOLD OUT of T-Harness style!!!!

By popular demand, I will now be offering a T-Style Harness to maintain full functionality of the 3rd row seats while utilizing the circuit for an unlimited 12v possibilities.

This harness is made with 14 AWG for the power wires and 20 AWG for signal wires ( larger than OE harness for durability).

The 3 ft. external power leads are soldered and heat shrunk for best strength and conductivity.

The price is $70 shipped to your door anywhere in the continental US. Anywhere else, we can figure something out.

Hello THEOZMAN. Please excuse any etiquette errors as I have not actually messaged anyone on this platform before.

I am wondering if you are still selling these 3rd row seat wiring harnesses. I just purchased a '14 460 after my 470 was destroyed in an accident and so I am starting all over with modifications. I was thinking about pulling the wiring off the seats I just removed, to re-use, when I ran into this post. If you are not in fact still selling them, do you know another way I could get ahold of a couple?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Joe
