Obviously didn't read the thread then. The owner says in his last post that using the mineral Western oil solved his problem.
Avoid the synthetic molasses.
I haven noticed that problem with 1HZ or industrial ID engines. My 1HZs would not use a drop until about after about 5-6000klms. My friend says the same about his 1KZ
No healthy engine has a problem with different oil. The type of injection system has no bearing on oil type. They're all aluminium pistons in steel/chrome bores with iron/steel rings.
Molasses? I have full synthetic 5W40 in my 3B.
