Just got home after staying an extra week...

Kudos to Jeff and his team. While there is certainly room for improvement, I think everyone did a great job considering it was their 1st year.

I want to acknowledge Patrick... Jeff's right hand man... worked his butt off, fixed his broke junk, and did the family routine. What a stud!
In 5 to 10 years, he might be ready to challenge Eric A and I for our title of International Raffle Team Champions. but not yet...

I met a lot folks, I saw a lot whom have not attended in some time, and I forgot more names than I can remember. but everyone was great and I am the better for it. There is one that I am not sure I met and quite frankly a little bummed... next time.

I am going to acknowledge my fellow PMC members in our club forum but I want to acknowledge one person here....

Outgoing Rubithon Chairman (and PMC Member) Mr. Ross Woody!!! His leadership as TLCA President for 8 years is why the association is as strong as it today and his efforts as Rubithon Chairman has positioned this event to continue to be successful; even when a previous chairman failed and literally dropped it on his lawn to pick up the pieces and carry on. Ross ran the kitchen when I was chairman over 10 years ago, that is how long and how involved he has been. Ross.... I think a man lucky to call you friend. Thank you my friend.

Had a great time with my son on the Cruisers and Company run. Johnny Pryor saved my ass wrenching on a borrowed steering box from Ken Hanna and we made it thru and the 9 hours home. These photos are a few of what I could grab and mostly my sons work. Last time I ran it was 2018. The section just leaving buck island lake to the lunch tree at the top of Big Sluice is very different.
Broke a rear sway bar bracket, striped rear shaft barely thru the paint and a nick on the joint , good dent on D/S rear wheel well where door meets body but will all be great stories since we came really close to flopping it..but didn’t!

Thank you Tony! It sure helped that I had a few really great people working with me right off the bat Sunday morning, and I had good support all week long. Larry and Cody, Darren (what a machine), Brian, our gracious host Mark who was willing to teach me anything, and Jeff always making sure I was good to keep rolling and had everything I needed. If I didn’t, he got it and set me free.

I think it may take me that number of years to be comfortable doing what you seem to do so effortlessly, so I’ll learn and adjust. But I can see why you like doing it. It’s fun welcoming people you just met up to win something. Thank you again for the help!
