We should both go next year?Wow, fantastic recap and photos. I had no idea so many people attended Rubithon. Bravo to @Firemedic831 & the team that planned, supported, & executed the event. I need to make it one of these years.

Have half the Harcore section there would be cool!We should both go next year?
That would be great fun. I’m still undecided about whether I want to drive the 40 that far. It could be fun or it could be a nightmare.Have half the Harcore section there would be cool!

hehe, repetitious indeed making the video more dragging & eventually boring, my trying hard attempt to attached music on those video clips.how did you find a 16 min version of this song?? haha!
Great video!
And then there's this...
They are pretty complex. They do raise 18 inches . But they are not really something you want to use on a trail . Maybe they can put in a solar grid and charging station at Dirty Dozen. So you can marvel at them when they stop inThey are out. Curious why nobody has modified the suspension on these yet ? or at least I havent seen one thats been lifted on 40's
The FJc has no problem on the rubicon . The Blue FJ has ran it 5 times now and not a single problem. . I ran it in my FJ many times and the only problem I ever had was I lost a bolt on my lower ball joint . . Many people run it with ifs rigs . As far as the cybertruck From what we were told is you need to turn off the rear steer and he did not do that . I never seen it raise the 18 inches just what they told me . His friend that had the other one had just got back from the attic oceanI aspire to attend this event.
A question for this year's participants or previous participants...
How did the IFS rigs fair? Did the FJC break any CV's?
When I did the Kokopelli Run at Cruise Moab almost 15 years ago
the FJC broke a CV on Rose Garden Hill and most of this looks tougher than that...
Speaking on my own experience, I've ran this trail 5 times already since 2020 and haven't broken any part related to drivetrain (axle, tie rods, control arms, differentials etc.). Also with fellow FJCs on IFS I've ran with, they all did well except for one that an axle needed to be replaced in 2020. That was because he did Fordyce prior. One got a flat tire. In the same year, 1 of our group in IFS successfully made it to Soup Bowl.I aspire to attend this event.

And wow, thanks for documenting the event Monching. It's only been a few weeks, but great to look back on. If y'all are ever on the Eastside or heading into Death Valley, drop me a line.
