Ok for those that do not know they have been doing road work on ice house road . The Forestry Service has asked me to ask that if possible please come in from Georgetown . If you have to come in from HWY 50 expect delays the Martin Bros would really appreciate it if we can cut down on the traffic . Thank you

Towing to Loon via Georgtown, be prepared, wether you go 80 to Auburn and up thru Cool or from Placerville there are some steep climbs and its a twisty bitch. I prefer going Auburn way as the drive thru the gorge up to Cool is cool, the climb coming from Placerville is nasty. Both ways have pulls that are worse than Ice House.

Got my brother signed up.... He wasn't the "winner" of the Cruise Moab raffle prize (a guy in the Rising Sun won it and couldn't use it) but was the only other guy in our club that wasn't already signed up to go. This is his first time doing the Rubicon and he's stoked!!

The first groups have made it through the entire trail this past weekend 💪🥳. We are a month and a half out 🤗. If you have been on the fence about coming do not wait as Registration will be closing in a week .

@Firemedic831 When exactly does registration close (and which runs have spots left)?

I just finished tubbing to clear 40s and am in the middle of installing the parking brake and limit straps, I'll hopefully be able to do a shake down run this coming weekend, then onto installing the rear bumper, sliders, and skids....then lots of bare metal needs painting. I'm hoping to get it all done in-time so I've waited to register until the last minute.

Is there a MUD thread for the Wagon Run? It would be nice to get acquainted with the group.
it's a little farther down the list

Filled clutch & brake MC's, toped up radiator, reviewed parts box, cleaned and filled water supply, washed all the geyserville mud off , put some road miles on the 40, I believe she is ready to load & put on the trailer. Charge radio batts, thro some waters in fridge and plug into 110 a few days before leaving, can't decide if I want an air matt or cot this trip ?????

That's the Breakfast Run... I'm looking for the Wagon Run
