Your list is sounding like mine. I found a rear u-joint that's had enough my nonsense. Got a new very thin solar panel on top since I went away from a roof rack. Found another steering leak which seems to be a never ending battle. And finally getting started on building my front axle to handle the future. Then just need to shoot all my heims and coilovers with Tri-flo. I'm sure I'll find something else in the next few weeks...The run leads will usually start a thread to connect folks on their run.
I did a bolt check, grease all zerks, check steering, brakes, ready to load gear, gonna be a great ride this year.
Forgot to add, I found a slighty loose pitman arm, rear driveshaft bolts were just a smidge, not loose but not where I left em, everything needed grease, shackles tightened a bit, fixed spring pin retaining bolts were a tad loose, front end needs new axle seals, rear pinion needs new seal, parts bin repacked due to moisture, 1 solar panel s*** the bed over winter, these are just some of the things I found that needed attention. Few road miles to see if anything else complains before heading out.
If your looking for some extra wheeling on the Rubicon ( Rubithon)? Maybe on Friday, travel backwards on trail to RTF property. Leave early to avoid some of the opposite direction traffic. Property has new trail ( Granite View Loop). Loop has 2.2 miles of Rubicon like terrain with two hill climbs. 37"+ tires, double lockers and winch recommended. 1st hill climb ( New Sluice) has gotten more difficult, and at end of last season, some rigs with 40s are now having problems. There are winch anchor points at all the difficult spots if you need them. Second hill climb is " Up Chuck". One good line that is not obvious will get you up pronto! GVL (Loop) takes about 2+hours with small groups, not including travel on main trail. It would be a full day of wheeling if leaving from Rubicon Springs for a daytrip!I think you're referring to what @Firemedic831 and a couple others may be up to after the event. I can honestly say if you're out here to really wheel, Fordyce is a great option after warming up on Rubicon. There are other trails up there to wheel for sure, and other things to play on in Rubicon that most of the runs won't go through, but for an experience, Fordyce is my jam

Your Trail leader so far is not winning the Leader of the year awardDid I miss a thread or email re: the 2025 Wagon Run?
The vid is good for giving you some pov looks at places / points of interest so that when you see them for the first time you will have a reference. In particular I liked the drive around of the Chalet/ Heli pad parking area. Alot of the stuff covered is over exaggerated IMO. Proper vehicle prep, pack well, bring a smile, if its your first time please listen to the spotters & leads. Such a beautiful place & fun trail, alot of times people get caught up in the drive and don't see it all. WQell, I have been wanting to explore more for 25 years, it takes, time, you learn as you go, it keeps you coming back, the people are top shelf, world class. So excited to see evryone and see what 2025 brings. I was hoping it would bring Onur ?????
You could always catch a ride in an empty seat...Wish I could. I don't have a running truck currently
