So what would have been the plan if you had to fix the rusted 76 frame ? I guess a few of us secretly hoped you would have to work on it just to get a superb howto pictured live on our screens![]()
You may have answered this some where before, but how do you make those bends in the sheetmetal? Especially the curved bends...

There was more, but that was the big thing....seperating those frame rails. That would have taken time along with all the time it would take to fabricate new frame and new parts. Then re-assembling everything and making sure it fits and looks stock................![]()

I had to do a little work on the front portion of the door sill. It had rotted out and it needed to be replaced. I cut a piece of door sill out of that other parts rig I had drug home with the lpb. I think you can see what I hacked out in the pics. Marked everything off and cut it out and welded in. That piece fit perfect and worked out really well, you would never know it was replaced right now in bare steel.
