Hey dubyahard can i ask where you found the Lexus emblem for the TRD wheels?
These look similar. They have the little clips on the back to pry them off easily. I also used a little adhesive to hold them on the the Tundra caps.

center caps

I took the 21” wheel center cap off and then the emblem you have to grind off the little melt nubs that hold the emblem, then you have the emblem with prongs the Toyota emblem just unsnaps easy , then i used the black piece as a template drilled holes to match the Lexus emblem then guerrilla super glue on .

Think I may end up going with this size after reading several other tire size threads as there are so many more tire options than 285/70r18. One question almost all of the post seem to have 18x8 wheels at effectively 35-30mm offset; for 18x9 would roughly 25mm be correct for the least amount of work to get these to fit? I am looking at icon, method or alpha etc. and if I am buying a new wheel I would rather not need spacers too.

I was mistakenly looking at translating to back space for some reason; so it seems most suggestions are positive 30-35mm offset for best clearance. I see a few options such as method 706 at 35mm but very few wheels at 30mm offset (only raceline 935 I think) I could do tundra wheels and spacers but like to eliminate extra interfaces if I can. Anyone with hybrid terrain type tires of more aggressive shoulder type all terrains have success at the uca with +35mm, say ridge grappler/Mickey Thompson etc?

My offset is around +31 (LC wheels and a 1" spacer) and I have zero issues fitting the Ridge Grapplers. I'll try to get a pic of the UCA clearance but there's room to spare...

Don't mind the dirt... east Texas clay dust takes forever to clear off ;)

no spacers, Fuel Anza Wheels with I believe +20mm offset. I dont believe they offer another offset for this bolt pattern. This equates to about the same as Factory offset with 1.25" spacer
Rod, are you running spacers? are those wheels the same offset as OEM?

If one had to choose, would a 25 or 35 offset me more practical?

Pretty sure if you have the option, 35 is better for "stuffing" and scrub radius. 25 is better for the "poke" wider stance crowd, but either should be doable. Anyone on Toyota wheels and 1.25" spacers (not RWs) is at 28.25mm.

I guess it depends if you are talking LX or LC, i'm not sure where all this lands when KDSS is in equation. I thought you had a LX though.

Yes, lx.

I’m looking through the various aftermarket wheels that would work.

My oem Lexus wheels are, sadly, showing signs that they won’t make it long term…the finish seems to be oxidizing or corroding when you look closely in places. Plus I’ve got spacers and these 20’s are heavy…makes sense to to find an aftermarket wheel for various reasons.

Thus, I’m trying to find an appropriate replacement when the time comes.

Method seems to have the best options currently-lifetime warranty, relatively inexpensive, correct load limit/strength, relatively lightweight, and close to correct offsets.

Their 18” 705 is 29 lbs and 25mm offset…which seems like it would work.

Does anyone know of a 22-24 lb 18” wheel with 25-35mm offset? That plus the cooper 295 70 r17’s would put the unsprung weight of the wheel/tire around 84-86 lbs which was, I think, the heaviest oem tire on an lx (2016+ 21” wheels).

Looks like the ship has nearly sold on these, but they were the best deal going for a while.

Alpha Equipt Closeouts on Tirerack

There are only full sets of bronze and black Deltas left. But these were the best deal going on a good fit for the 200 series.

17" +35mm and 18" +25mm.

I think your weight expectations may be optimistic. The requested range is lighter than the 18" Forged BBS wheels.

Here's a newer wheel I haven't seen before (American Racing AR944) 18" +35mm 28.35lbs and cheap ($213/wheel). I think you can get the Dakar Corse wheels in 18" with good offset as well.

(Caution: unsolicited internet opinion)
This is an 18" tire thread so take this for what it's worth (not much). If you are buying new wheels, going with 17" makes a lot of sense. Most fit over the brakes, the tires are cheaper, the wheels will most likely be cheaper. So unless you are after that slightly lower profile tire, the only reason i'd go with an 18" wheel is if I was sticking with a Toyota takeoff (with a 1" spacer) that i was getting either on the cheap or getting a high end forged BBS wheel. There isn't a perfectly equivalent 17" to the 295/70R18 but the 285/75R17 is slightly smaller and the 315/70R17 is slightly bigger. There are some 35x11.5R17s out there, that would be closer to the 295/70R18.

I’m looking to get the largest tire that will stuff appropriately while not being too far outside of oem weight if possible.

I had not considered 315 70 r17…it would be 34.4x10.6 and, with k02’s and 25 offset method 316’s add up to 86 lbs, which would technically, I think, be oem weight.

Functionally that may be the Goldilocks. I’ll have to look into it some more to see what might need to be done to make them fit, stuff, etc.

If anyone has advice on that, let me know. Thanks
