morning all, maybe I am missing it, but where did the link to the google doc go? I don't see it on the first page? Thanks!
Weird it is embedding as media. Here is the link without the media embed:

New shoe day tomorrow - similarly to above, paging @gaijin for RCTIP for 2013 LX570 for Toyo AT3 in LT 285/75R17 C load rating, highlighted in blue in the screenshot below. Placing chips on 37 and 35. Appreciate the help very much!

Can I piggyback on your request with same tire but E load rating? Since you posted the specs and all, thanks!
2011 LX570 if it makes any difference. Thanks @gaijin

It's a twofor!

The RCTIP for those LT285/75R17 tires, both Load Range C and Load Range E, on your LX570's is 35psi F/R.

Hi guys, quick question as its hard to scroll through 120 pages. On stock 20's on the 09LX, whats the biggest size tire I can run without mods of any kind, and if you had to choose between KO2's, Toyo AT3, or Falken Wildpeaks, (or any other same type tire) what would provide the best quality ride/noise? Also something that would fit in the spare tire well. TIA

I don't know the answer because I did some minor mods to fit my big tires, BUT keep in mind BFG tires run smaller than the listed size in most cases. So if you're looking for the "biggest tire," a Toyo or Falken 285/60r20 will be bigger than a BFG of the same size. Whereas if you're looking to run the "biggest posted size" you could probably run a bigger posted size BFG. For instance there is a guy on the forum with 37" KO2's that did not need to do most of the supporting mods to fit 37's because the tires are actually 35.5", a full inch smaller than the posted size.

That said, however you feel about their sizing, BFG are good tires--I've run them on 3 rigs in the past.

If you aren't willing to touch anything, then 285/55R20 or maybe, but doubtful 275/60R20 are going to be the biggest you could possibly go. A 285/70R17 fits on a +50et offset wheel with no issues, which is about what a 285/55R20 is (your OEM wheel is +60et though).

The Toyo AT3 comes in a P285/55R20 and thier sister company Nitto Recon Grappler comes in a 285/55R20 XL. If it was my dollars those are the 2 tires i'd be looking at if you want all round capability with less on-road sacrifices.

Appreciate it! I was guessing 36-ish.

I've put 850 miles on my new load range C Toyo AT3s, and am loving them. NVH, ride, and compliance have been improved tremendously from my old load range E Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs. A small bit more squish/rollover when pushing through turns at speed, but easily acceptable and not an issue, and I do push it. Similar in noise (very little), and weight (Toyo AT3 C are 1 lb. heavier per corner in 285/75R17 than Discoverer AT3 XLT E). Not much time in dirt yet, but seems all factors there will be similar or improved, and the AT3s add 3PMSF which the Coopers did not have.

I'm guessing the NVH reduction is due to the model and not the load range, but don't know for sure. I've heard opinions from those with more experience than me that most load range C/E ride similarly, and recently came across a few reviews of Discoverer AT3 XLTs noting the harsh/firm ride. The ride on the Coopers was so bad I chased the issue for a while, thinking it could be something besides the tires: changed accumulators, AHC fluid flush x2, checked all AHC sensors working, experimented with tire pressure, did zero point calibration, after all that had dealer check it out, all with little (noticeable) effect. Then bam, these tires have a dramatic effect.

Nice review, thanks for posting

@gaijin RCTIP for Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 35x12.5x17 LT 119Q D2 for a 2010 LX570? I'm sure I'll just adjust them seat of the pants to my ride preference, but I'd definitely appreciate your recommendation to start off with. Tire shop went a little nuts and they range anywhere from 40-50psi.

Thank you everyone for the help. After lot of analysis paralysis, this is what I ended up with.

Tire is 45lbs
Wheels 30lbs
Offset 40mm

------------

Total 75 lbs.

MR318 with General Grabber ATX

Lots of photos here:

I have run a 9” wide 25mm offset Method bead grip wheel without issue with Lt275/70r18. Typically i would air down to 15 psi in the rocks and rough terrain. The method bead grip is legit. Haven’t lost a bead even after inadvertently running below 8 psi which eventually went to 0 psi after 2 miles into the trail. Valve core was not put all the way back in after airing down.
The Kenda Klever RT does measure 11.43” wide so it’s extremely wide for a 275 , even wider then alot of 285 width tires.

25mm offset looks great without too much tire extending beyond the fenders. I had to remove the mud flaps and trim / mold a lot of plastic compared to a more conservative offset say between 45mm 60mm.

This is exactly the wheel im looking for for my new (to me) '13 LX570. Im hoping to be able to run a 33x12.50"ish setup for some clearance up my driveway

After reading through most of this thread and taking a look at that spread sheet, I ordered some Falken Wild Peaks in 275/70/R18. From what I read, there was supposed be no rubbing. Unfortunately, they do in fact rub in the front mud flap nearing full lock in both forward and reverse. Not the end of the world, but very annoying none the less.

Specs are 2021 LC HE with stock 18's and 1.25" spacers. Here are some pics for reference:

Going to remove the spacer even though I like the way the tires fill the wheel wells right not and see if they still rub but my initial guess is that they will.

I run this size in a different tire. You have a few options. 1. Removing the spacer may cure it but the tires are skinny and could look off. 2. Add OEM coil spacer may cure it while keeping wheel spacer 3. Go to HF and but a cheap heat gun and go to work.

A set of Wildpeak AT/3W P285/70R17 are high on my list for winter driving. This vehicle has rarely seen winter conditions but this year we are taking regular trips to the Coastal and Rocky Mtns. [edit] going with P-rated tire, 4 ply, higher load, 50 lbs. weight (10 lbs less than C and 8lbs less than E)

Thank you, they are the 116Q SL. I think they are a very nice ride and the road noise I very minimal. I took my dad for a ride to get his thoughts. He is very noise sensitvie. He also agreed that the ride quality was great and noise was very minimal and not noticeable if having a conversation or listening to the radio.View attachment 2336399
Looks good. Tire size and do you have a lift?
