To put your mind at ease, the wheel width doesn’t really matter. It’s the tire width that determines whether things fit.Thank you. I was more worried about the 9” wide wheel with that offset hitting the kdss. I suppose a spacer would fix that.

That’s so sick..![]()
BFG K03 285/70/17 on Method 703s. Stock suspension. Slight rub at the front during a hard turn in reverse.
I wouldn't be afraid to run the SL's on any dirt or light gravel road around the Colorado just carry a patch kit. If I was doing more shale rock roads like down in the San Juans then I'd probably step up to a C load for a little more sidewall ply. I'm most likely going to step down to a 17" wheel and go with a 285/70/17 as there's many options in that size and in the long run cheaper.I do see those were available. I think my mind was going to my issues stemming from the KO3 being more of true AT tire, so I was discounting other AT tire options. I think these Falkens in the non LT version may be a good option. That does look like the only AT tire in 285 65 18 that doesn't come in LT version.
Looks completely unmodified even the small front flap is intact. Very nice![]()

Gotcha. Thank you. I actually found some Rock warriors so I’m gonna use those, but these definitely were intriguing. To put your mind at ease, the wheel width doesn’t really matter. It’s the tire width that determines whether things fit.

Pardon my ignorance, but what does et45 mean? I like your setup and I want to keep the wheels within the well like stock on my '19 LX, but I want more aggressive tires and 18s instead of the 21s.Another combo to add: Evo Corse 18” et45 with 275/65 R18 Falken AT4W’s SL. I wanted a softer and more rugged looking setup than the stock 21’s. Also needed better snow traction for commuting. No rubbing or need for plastic adjustments. The rake looks a bit aggressive but she’s parked on a bit of a downhill angle.

I don't know of anyone running those particular wheels, but an 18x9 +25mm offset is what I and a few other on here have. I have 295/70/18's and just had to modify the front fender liners. You just have to the remove mud flap and bend the bracket out of the way, move the fender liner forward and heat gun the rear portion of the liner to reshape it a little to keep from rubbing in reverse. Not sure of what happens using the smaller tires you listed.et45 means an offset of 45mm
question for the group - has anyone run the SCS F5 on a 200 series? F5 - https://www.stealthcustomseries.com/collections/toyota/products/f5
They make an 18x9, 25mm offset in 5x150. Would this fit an unmodified LX570 with 275/70/18s?
I know this is a common setup on the OEM Tundra wheels but I believe those are 18x8. Wondering if the extra inch of width is going to cause issues.
My black 2013 will look idential to this shortly on Method 703s. Only debating going 285/75 for slightly more sidewall, if I can find a C load tire in that size. Nicely done.![]()

+35.Nice! What's the offset on those?
Looking to get wilkdpeak AT4s in 285/65/R18 with OEM 10mm spacer added on stock suuspension. Is there going to be any rubbing? Local shop is saying I'd need a 2inch lift for no rubbing.
Running 285/60 on my LX570 with Sensor Lift on Hi, works great minor rubbing on frame in a really tight turnTo put your mind at ease, the wheel width doesn’t really matter. It’s the tire width that determines whether things fit.
Suuuuuuper interested in these tyres, looks like this size is not an LT tyre, and more a highway / low pressure tyre.Bad advice from the shop. a suspension lift won't prevent rubbing as the suspension can still compress just as far as it did before the lift. If they mean a body lift - that's a different story.
That tire should fit fine with no rubbing on stock suspension from what other members report.
For context, here are my Tundra wheels with 275/70/18 Yokohama Geolandar AT4 which is a 1/2" taller than 285/65/R18. I have no rubbing

So should be quieter, and better riding than my LT Falkens?
It looked like these were a much lower load rating online than the Falkens, will have to research the sizes and options more to make sure.I did get them in an E load LT. It was all that was available unless I went smaller or down to 17s.
They’re not quite as aggressive as the Falkens, but definitely not a highway tire. The sidewall is a bit more tame but the tread is pretty aggressive. If the OEM tire is a 1, and the Falken is a 10, I’d say these are a 7.
What sold me on them was that they were 5-6 lbs lighter per tire than the equivalent Falken.
Really happy with them so far. Pretty quiet, ride well. Haven’t had a chance to test them in wet, snow, or off road but I will be soon!
