will 18x9, +25, stick out too much?

No

If your intent is to really off-road, watch the tire width to wheel width. A 9" wide wheel is going to want a wide tire to ensure bead retention when airing down.

Agree with others that it won't stick out too much but it is on the aggressive end of the offset spectrum from a geometry standpoint.

Yes car will be seeing off roading. no rock crawling

just put on some 275 new tires on it - will stick with those.

not looking for fashion statement - just a better looking wheel than current oem setup

was looking at oem steelies or similar look (fifteen52 or nomad) but all are + 0 which I dont want

even though Methods aren t first choice they seem to be good size at 18 x8.5 + 40 mm

every other company seems to be tundra super wide in +0 when I look for 5x150

we air down 15 psi i ln the sand. 18 psi offroad

You guys are the experts. If you tell me x9 +25 SCS wheels wont work I wont get them - keep looking

Appreciate the help

here are some of the choices:

Mind me asking where you’re sourcing this tire? I thought they were exclusive OE on the Ford Ranger Raptor.

@ryanCA
I have run a 9” wide 25mm offset Method bead grip wheel without issue with Lt275/70r18. Typically i would air down to 15 psi in the rocks and rough terrain. The method bead grip is legit. Haven’t lost a bead even after inadvertently running below 8 psi which eventually went to 0 psi after 2 miles into the trail. Valve core was not put all the way back in after airing down.
The Kenda Klever RT does measure 11.22” wide so it’s extremely wide for a 275 , even wider then alot of 285 width tires.

25mm offset looks great without too much tire extending beyond the fenders. I had to remove the mud flaps and trim / mold a lot of plastic compared to a more conservative offset say between 45mm 60mm.

I’m not. Just research at this time

I've only seen pictures of one LC with my same wheels, the icon thrust. They have that truck/military look that I was going for. They also look different in pictures compared to real life.

Vector 5s delivered today. Also rec’d the proper lug nuts. Tpms will or won’t need replacing as well? Probably all depends if still functional and don’t break on install? And if need, oem only, correct? Or aftermarket ok? Educate a rookie wheel buyer for those that have been through the process before w/ any other useful info. Thanks.

nice wheels. Re-use the same TPMs if they are still functional. Mine stopped communicating with the vehicle so I replaced them with the installer's aftermarket sensors

Hi guys, quick question as its hard to scroll through 120 pages. On stock 20's on the 09LX, whats the biggest size tire I can run without mods of any kind, and if you had to choose between KO2's, Toyo AT3, or Falken Wildpeaks, (or any other same type tire) what would provide the best quality ride/noise? Also something that would fit in the spare tire well. TIA

Can I piggyback on your request with same tire but E load rating? Since you posted the specs and all, thanks!
2011 LX570 if it makes any difference. Thanks @gaijin

morning all, maybe I am missing it, but where did the link to the google doc go? I don't see it on the first page? Thanks!
