Also, thanks to @inkpot the past couple of years for helping me down this road with methanol injection and cooling.

Picked up the new PCV hose today, Gates 27003. The instructions say 12 inches but I found that 10 1/2 made it look more factory fit and finish. I had previously run a silicone hose here, but you could tell the oil was penetrating the hose as evidenced by discoloration.

Interesting thing is that I kept all of the old hoses until I finish this installation and they are just rock hard. I’m guessing the heat just cooked them. I wonder why TRD didn’t want to use the OEM PCV valve hose but instead bulk hose.

Sent the gauge pod holder back to see if another option might work better or be an easier install.

Ordered a couple more to see what might fit the best and think I’m going to go with this one:
Silicone hoses and flex loom came in. Flextech precut the large hoses for me.

Jon Bond Performance packed the supercharger in a spray foam and bag that totally protects the blower without making a mess separating the halves. It looks like they use a gasket instead of what Toyota did originally with a sealant. Looks nice.

If you care to share, how much did the rehab run? Did they recoat the rotors?

On the invoice says rotor and case repair as well as ceramic rotor coating. PM for more details.

Dug up the receipt and since this was done over two years ago before the crazy inflation, it was around $1400. They provided a very detailed itemized list of parts replacement and repairs.

In the meantime, I am waiting on more parts to finish installing the supercharger.

In looking at the supercharger and methanol injection installation it appears to me that the dual battery system as it stands currently will have to go and the relocated washer bottle moved back to its original location.

Started ripping out the dual battery system and the washer bottle to relocate it back to stock. I had a circuit breaker mounted over by the second battery and I think I’m going to use it to set up a fuse box under hood to add the accessories I was running off the second battery. Hopefully this won’t introduce any ham radio or amplifier noise. I’ve heard differing opinions on wiring those kind of things.
Going forward I am planning to use a lithium set up in the rear with some solar panels I’m going to add.
Good news is that I ended up having to run a smaller coolant bottle with the dual battery system, so it’ll be nice to get the full size one back.

Fortunately I had the original hardware and was able to get it back in fairly easily. I had repinned the washer bottle connector to make an extension cord without cutting the factory harness so will probably return that to stock.

For anyone who did the Methanol injection I would be interested to see how you mounted the reservoir and pump.

For reference:

Thanks and tribute to Tools R US and inkpot in the past for the tips, advice, tool, and part to assemble this thing.

If anyone has some good advice and preferably a pic on torquing the crank pulley please post up. I’ve always used an impact and have never had a problem but no room on this so far.

A chain wrench around the pully or jamb a socket into the flywheel teeth.
I used a chain wrench

Looked at my torque wrench and it only goes up to 250. Same as the rentals. Gonna have to figure that out.
In reading everything I could about fan clutches the black hub and Eaton are up there for cooling but I’m not clear how the orange compares.

Cool thing about the Dorman water pump studs is that they’re the same length as stock but threaded to the end which for our purposes allows different options.
