I moved it to the classifieds for you - should have better luck here.

Looks pretty good. You should post up a few more photos, such as undercarriage and a closeup of the windshield issue.

Agreed with this!

Also is the driver rear door card different?

Looks like a great cruiser. Post up all the pics and show the flaws, it will sell!

Being a clean rust free CA truck, this seems like a very low asking price. How long ago was the conversion done and did you do the work? How many miles on the drivetrain since the conversion? Also, how is the dash area and the rest of the truck not visible with the current pictures? Agree with other posts that more picture will avoid the many requests you’ll get. Might point out all positives and negatives (boogers) and you’ll save some time.

Very cool set up and best of luck with the sale.

I bought the cruiser in Sacramento Ca. 12 years ago. The conversion was done 10 1/2years ago. I've put around 50k miles on it.
The donor vehicle had 375,264 kilometers at the time around 233,178 miles.
Why selling this Beauty ?
I'm going on 71 and I had an open heart surgery last year. It's getting harder for me to get in and out this beast!
In the past years I drove it to the Oregon coast, the Olympic Peninsula and a few times on the Vancouver Island in Canada. I used it to go Salmon fishing a few years in a row.
She's mostly a city girl that likes to show off!
Lately I just use it to drive around and go to the VA clinic in Tacoma.
I figured it's worth a bit more than 25K but at this stage in my life money isn't all that important.
I haven't put it on Craigslist and there is no "For Sale"sign on it.
I'd like to see the Cruiser go to a LandCruiser enthusiast from the community.
No it doesn't need a paint job. It would be a caprice!
I've used the 4 wheel drive a handful of time.
The windshield has a crack and some chips.
The dash pad doesn't have cracks but a small curl where the glass meet.
She's 38 years old!
Owning an old LandCruiser is a sickness! It's like having Mistress she always wants something new!
I'll soon post more pictures.
It does come with some spare parts.
Yes it comes with a new spare wheel and tire.
You can call or text me at 360 259 2161 and I'll send you a short video of a walk around and listen to what she and sounds like.
Now it's time for my meds!
I'll post more pictures soon.

Enough said. Very well stated and by your explanation it’s obvious you’re a cruiser lover at heart. Thank you for sharing.
I absolutely love this setup hence the reason my 60 is built just like yours. I’ll be surprised if you’re not closing this out with a new owner by the end of the week. You’re exactly the person I’d want to purchase a vehicle like this from :).

The water pump and all wheel bearings were replaced 2 years ago.
The steering box was rebuild in Texas 6 years ago.
New Ti-rods 5 years ago.
Sound proofing was laid all over floor a few years ago.

Jimmy I would like to see this one in your barn one day

Ha. Me too as I love the fact it’s an 87 and it’s silver. One of my favorite colors. And there’s great owner history in this build. You should buy it Mike and bring it to the barn and I’ll fix the AC and trans for you.
I would absolutely love this one. Going to tell Austin about it I know he is still looking for the right one

Can you guys believe that someone actually tried "lowballing" me with an offer of 18K, WHAT THE F..K !!!
I need to take a walk and calm down!
If anything you should only accept offers over your asking price. Don’t let it get to you. Sounds like you’re fortunately in a position to sit on the 60 until the right person comes along.
@BigHighBlue do you know anyone that’s expressed interest in this set up that may not be as active on MUD? What about Jack???
