Saw this cruiser on CL - actually looks to be in pretty nice shape for the price. Pics & ad below:

"Great condition, low mileage FJ60 Land Cruiser with some nice upgrades for sale. Runs and drives excellent, and has had recent service that included new tie rod ends. Only 180,XXX miles. Old man emu lift with pretty fresh 33 inch BFG K02 tires. Newly upholstered interior. Other recent upgrades include oversized locking steel center console, updated Alpine radio with Bluetooth, and all new interior rubber mats. Has a few small rust spots and a couple minor dings, but otherwise excellent condition! "

Three different 60s being shown in those pics.

Nope it's the same cruiser. Just look at the wheels and tires.

I can point to a dozen things which are inconsistent between the pics.

The easy ones are the rocker chrome strip. Sticker on the windshield. Paint condition. Antenna.

Tires look larger in first pic, too. Leading edge of the hood on the driver's side is not consistent.

If it's the same 60, then there's a time lapse of years, if not decades, between them.

The hood is raised on the driver's side and seems consistent with pictures 1 and 3.

And basing your conclusion that this is three different cruisers on "stickers & chrome moldings" (which can be removed & added by the way) is about as sound of an argument as "well the third one has a roof rack and the other two don't". Some FJ60's had power antennas controlled by a switch on the dash, which may be why the lengths are different.

Paint colors look different in different lights. The first 2 pictures were taken on cloudy days and the third was on a sunny day. The paint is going to look more dull on a cloudy day since there's no light to reflect off of it and brighten it up. Plus it looks like the first picture has some kind of a filter on it.

I have no affiliation with the seller but I'm sure this is the same cruiser in all three pictures.

So you are basing your assumption it's the same cruiser on what... the wheels and tires? Or they're all red?

Roof racks are designed to be R&R'd. Who in their right mind is going to pull the rocker chrome strips off for giggles?

The condition of the filler panel below the grill in the 2nd and 3rd pics is entirely different. In the 2nd pic, it's road blasted and faded. In the 3rd, the paint is more intact than on the fender. The front wiper arms are not consistent, either.

I'm not shopping the rig, so it's no skin off my rear end.

I'm with Ace that this is probably the same truck just taken at wide time intervals. The A pillar handles are visible in most pics and are a somewhat rare modification. Most people don't photograph their trucks all the time (like me!) and would have to scrounge photos that represent all sides. Although, anyone really serious about selling something north of $5K would do their effort great favors in setting some time for a one day "shoot everything" photo session.

I think we could go back and forth until the cows come home, but your last sentence is the truth. We aren't buying it and any prospective buyer would need to do their due diligence before buying it.

Screw it, it's Friday. Let's grab some beers and call it a day.

🍺
