Well at least you know the brake lines are still available :-)

I lucked out. It was just the MC. I guess the seal inside went out and it was just bleeding pressure past it. If you pumped it up it would slowly bleed back down. Speaking of brake lines, I need to figure out a longer rubber line for the rear (frame to axle). I could tell it was getting stretched.

That's really sharp man... It's come a long way!

I know! It's crazy! All it takes is time and effort. I still have a long way to go tho. Suspension, 22RE swap, 5 spd swap, dual cases, tires, etc, etc, etc... As they say, a project is never done.

Would any of the extended OE rubber lines they use on the 80's work?

If you have a spare rear line, you can use it to make an extension. I've done that while waiting for an extended braided SS line to show up after installing a lift.

Truck looks awesome, BTW!

I thought about that but I haven't built up my spare parts collection yet. I've been doing research and it looks like the a. extended rear for an 80 b. 96ish T100 rear or c. aftermarket.

Also, thanks!

Paragon Performance makes stainless braided lines to any length and I thought their prices were pretty reasonable (at least 3 years ago or so): Stainless Steel Braided PTFE Hose, SS Braided Teflon Hose, SS Tube Stub Assemblies, Heat Pump Hose, Fan Coil Hookup, Power Trim Hose, Biodiesel, Brake Lines, Fuel Lines, Silicone Hose, etc.

I bought an extended set for my 4Runner. Very good quality.

I will probably need to get a whole set once I start on the suspension. I'm going to need a short term solution for GSMTR for the rear hose.

Finally broke down and bought 2 tires. I was really hoping to avoid spending that money right now.. I just really don't want to go to Golden Mountain and be dissapointed. I'm going to use the 2 best ProComp A/Ts and throw these 2 on there. If anyone is looking for some 33x12.50x17s I'm sure these will be back up for sale soon...

Not sure why everyone hates on TG? These sliders seem like they're pretty stout.

Since I changed the paint scheme I felt like I needed to keep it a little redneck...

Man that thing is "SHWING".....:D

The longbed chop definitely gives it a unique look, and the frame horns don't stick out too far since you trimmed them down. A nice plate bumper will help clean up the rear and give you a good step.

Wish I was going to be able to make GSMTR to check it out.

And I really like your hood release and AC. ;) "Real Nice"

And just out of curiosity: How effin big is that service bay? Seriously it looks like you could park the space shuttle in that place. And 4 chain hoists per station(edit: not hoists, air and other service reels).... and a lift, can you say jealous..

Yeah I kept the pieces we cut off the frame and I'm going to use them to box the frame ends. I'm thinking about rectangular tube to build a bumper. That way I can cut out a square in the middle and weld a piece of tube in for a receiver. I'm also going to integrate 2 recovery points to the bumper.

The shop is 20 something bays, each station has a built in tool box, 1 oil reel for 0W20 oil, 1 for 5W20 oil, 1 for transmission fluid, water, 2 air hoses, and a drop light... and it has A/C and heat. We also have 2 Hunter laser in-ground alignment racks, and stations for tires and brakes at both ends of the shop. The shop is super nice but when you spend 15 or 20 million on a dealership you expect it to be nice. :grinpimp:

On a side note: If any of you guys are ever in the area and want to check out the store, you're welcome to stop by and I'll give you the grand tour.

I know it is going to GSMTR so I am expecting a pic heavy post so I can be jealous that I missed it and GSMTR.

I've got pictures, Peter from ACC has a bunch, and we did you one better... Peter set up his GoPro camera on the windshield! So there will be vids as well. :D

Looks like I only have one that actually has my truck in it.

Edit: This is sitting at the bottom of 4 right before I failed to go up it. Or, rather, I succeeded in only going 1/3 of the way up.

You gave it hell, and I am proud to say I was there when you did make the 1/3. Trail 4 was no joke.

Who got pics of my mini stomping the trail before Sam went up?

Josh
