The Scout has been completely restored from the inside out, creating a one of a kind custom recreational vehicle! The Scout is ideal for road trips, weekend adventures, and is perfect for loading your gear: tents, bikes and all things outdoor. The Scout’s rugged frame and exterior is capable of withstanding the bumps and bruises that are associated with remote roads but provides comfort and style too.

1980 International Scout II Details:

  • Completely restored

  • Fresh International 304 V8

  • Restored wiring, gauges, upholstery

  • New soft top, stereo, bodywork, and paint

  • 33” tires

  • 4” rough country lift

  • Rhino lined interior

  • Valued at over $18,000

RAFFLE TICKETS ARE $25 FOR 1 TICKET OR 5 TICKETS FOR $100. ALL RAFFLE TICKETS PURCHASED WILL GO TOWARDS THE CAMP BARNABAS SCHOLARSHIP FUND, MEANING THAT FOR EVERY RAFFLE TICKET YOU PURCHASE, YOU ARE HELPING TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND CHRONIC ILLNESSES.
The winning ticket will be drawn at Camp Barnabas’ Glamping for Camping on Saturday, October 28th in Springfield, Missouri. You do not need to be present to win. The winner of the raffle will be responsible for picking up The Scout and any expenses associated with delivery and ownership.

Interesting first post. Scam much?

Hi Heckraiser! This isn't a scam, we're just trying to raise awareness of this offer!
Then why would you post it in an 80 series Land Cruiser technical discussion forum?

Are you insinuating that someone who joined hours ago and submitted a link to a money-grabbing "raffle" for a truck of a completely unrelated make and model than the forum he is posting on is somehow being less than honest?

Can we at least get real :flipoff2:

Hey Bludozer! All the proceeds of this raffle will send someone with special needs to Summer Camp for a week!

I guess you can blame my forum choice on my personal lack of vehicle knowledge. Is there a forum on this site that would better fit the 1980 IH Scout?

Just shut up and let's send all our money!!

Seriously we arent gonna fall for that weak scam, if you were smart you would put a picture of a max effort 80 overlander, then you would be ready to retire!

This is no scam, just an amazing Summer Camp for amazing kids! Feel free to check out our website or any of our social media outlets. We're simply trying to raise awareness of this raffle and get more people's names in the hat!

I'll just stick with my 70 model Bronco 1/2 Cab.

Nice looking truck.

Nice looking truck.

Agreed.

Since this thread will disappear shortly, I will say that IH's are pretty cool trucks with a long lineage of function over form. The '64 Scout 80 below was what my LX replaced. Even though it only had 48K, eventually I couldn't keep the rust at bay. I may just have to enter that raffle :).
