This summer while parked in the sun with a full tank of fuel, gas would literally run out the filler neck, down the fender and onto the ground.
I found a check valve by the fuel separator that let's air in, but not out. I can't find anyway for the tank to vent out, when the fuel expands. What am I missing?
Planning on replacing the vent in the cargo panel with a new one. Put a new oem fuel cap on it. Won't know if it's going to vent properly until summer time.@cruiserkreutz Any update on this? I'm going through the exact same thing and I'm just starting the process of elimination. I have a new cap. (old one had a cracked rubber seal anyway) I've made sure the lines are clear. Just checking if you'd definitively tracked it down.
I made my own charcoal canister to replace all that factory stuff in the side cargo panel that ties to my tank vent and solved all my issues.Planning on replacing the vent in the cargo panel with a new one
