Got to take my copilot out for our first real test drive! Filled her up and hit the road for about an hour with no issues. I’m amazed all the gauges function. Sorry for crap video busted my camera a few weeks back.

If anybody has a junk door that could cut the door stop mount out of I’d be interested. Went to install mine today and realized my drivers side is missing.

2x on the patch. Put them on my 67. Weld on, don't get carried away with the heat.

@wngrog captured a solid shot.

Little photo dump from this weekend camping with the 45. Also not sure how my son can sleep in this thing with windows down but he does...

Was able to get some new reflectors and some new rubbed on the rear of this thing before we hit the road.

Added a few cosmetic things. A set of SOR precut floor mats and then a full @wngrog copy with an OEM jerry can in the bed.

Took a trip to see @under_psi to help weld on my door stop. I don’t have any color match paint so we hit it with a little red he haD. My plan is to come back smooth and clean everything up when I get done paint match. At least now I don’t have to worry with the door slamming my mirror. And there’s 25 reds on this truck already!

150 mile round trip today in the 45 picking up Rcvs and an h55 for my 60. Ran great even broke 70 going down hill with a tail wind. Added my hhh lock to my jerry can holder just because. Even ran into a little bacon.

Pretty excited about this that I had to post it before it even gets delivered! @dmamj came through for me and sold me a complete correct tool roll setup with a 65/66 manual! This is too nice for my truck I am sure, but how often do you see it all together with everything correct. Couldn't let it slip away.

Well Dustin did a good thing with this ole girl but when he made mention that he was thinking about selling it I knew the perfect guy for it.

My friend Shawn @Landcruiser Nut has a couple 40s, a 55, 60 and a 200 and he clearly needed an LPB

They met here at my house to do the deal a couple weeks ago while I was in Texas and somehow I got talked into doing a few upgrades on it

Can’t wait to watch a few tasteful upgrades! It was a privilege to own it. @Landcruiser Nut is the right guy to carry it forward.

My part of the plan on this one is to upgrade the 4 wheel drums to disc brakes, add a lift and new tires and wheels.

As y’all in this forum know, adding disc brakes on a 1965 Land Cruiser is not simply adding parts to the axles and rolling out like a later truck with 10mm brake lines.

This weekend @nvrlose54 brought me an old housing to convert to discs since the ball/claw housing on the truck won’t take FJ60 knuckles.

I dove into that yesterday to be ready for the BIG box of @cruiseroutfit parts Shawn ordered to build it back
