She is looking really nice :)

Just curious...you keeping the top ...or do you have an extra roof panel laying around ?

Well, here is a shot of what she looks like currently. BTW, it is officially a she, the family has decided the name should be "Dorothy" since that was the name of the street we found her on.

I think the seats came out pretty good, and I don't know why people hate these old style seats I think they are quite comfortable. :D

Nah, I'm keeping the top. It actually gets down into the 40s here for about a month out of the year. Hardtops for a 64 are hard to come by, but keep your eye out, they do pop up. A couple of the LC part hoarders on this board might actually have one.

Looks great!

No worries on the top, I'll get one up here eventually.

Can you post more picts of how you hooked up the seat belts? Looking at doing the same, but for all three places up front (wife, daughter and myself).

I would have thought of running an extra bar across the cage for the middle shoulder belt anchor...:hhmm:

I wanna see more pics!!

that is def what i would consider a dream build, it's almost making it harder for me to get started. just picked mine up and am just beginning my build. figure now ill get it on the road, then determine my ultimate goal. everyone is telling me to stay stock with my 68..i want brakes, suspension, cage and steering at least.

your opinion?

A fairly new pic. My bikini top and canvas half doors came in today so hopefully I will have that stuff installed soon. I also have the jumpseats and a bezel installed, that should show up in the pics I take after getting the top and doors installed.

Don't know if you check this thread still, but I am curious what kind of radiator you went with and what your mounting solution was?
Thanks, and awesome build btw

I used a 31 x 19 Aluminum rad from Summit Racing, I mounted it using these rubber mounts that were threaded on each end. I wouldn't know where to get them tho, I found them in my father's service truck and he doesn't even know where they came from. And right now it's supported up top by a giant duct zip tie until I get around to painting my upper support rod. :D

oh btw my roommate is from Boulder also.

Allright...its been 2 months since you teased us about the top and half doors.........................

wheres the camera....?

I'll see what I can do, right now I'm going to school 4 hours away from my cruiser so last time I was in town all I had time to do was get the bikini top installed, I think I got a pic around here somewhere. But I'm going down to Corpus for my turkey break so I'm going to try and get those half doors installed. I promise more pics if I get them installed.

here some:

Wow, that seems like a pretty big radiator for the location. Was it pretty tight or an easy fit? You and your roommate will have to take that sexy rig up here some time. Boulder is a pretty nice town

你们美国人太幸福了,在中国找到一台fj40比登天还难。:( 什么时候我才能找到我心爱的fj40呢?
