Found this interesting JDM brochure recently that made me scratch my head. You’ll notice it says 1961 Toyota motor guide - well it has a 45LV in it. I thought they didn’t start making them until 1963? Check out the 20 series wheels and bumper. Maybe JDM got them a few years earlier than NA? Interestingly this one has photos of both the FJ25 and the “new” FJ40 too.

This one has GOT to be a '61. It looks exactly like the one in the '61 brochure.

Interesting that on both of these early LVs the filler neck is on the passenger side.
