Someone sent me this picture. These appear to be 16" wheels (tires) with hubcap clips, they say they are from a cruiser. Any info on origin/model/year of when these were a thing... I thought all hubcap wheels were 15"

I had my wheels made from the centers of split wheels centers and Stockton wheels mounted them into a 17”x8” outer wheel. there are other factory wheels out there but are stock width around 6”. 17x8 gives it a good look along with factory hub caps
 
Hello Mark.... they did make oem 16" non split rims with clips.... very rare to find

there were 16¨ rivited non splits as well as welded with clips
